"I left Boca de Agua Bacalar feeling somewhat disappointed, as I had expected a seamless five-star experience given the positioning and price point. During my stay there were several service inconsistencies, including intermittent WiFi over multiple days, a disruption due to a private event which required me to leave the property for a full day, and some issues around dining and coordination. Individually these may seem minor, but cumulatively they impacted the overall experience, particularly as the main appeal of the hotel is its lagoon setting, which I wasn’t able to fully enjoy. I also found that when issues did arise, resolution sometimes required multiple follow-ups rather than being handled smoothly and discreetly, which is something I would expect from a hotel at this level. There is a lot to like about the property itself, but the overall experience didn’t quite align with five-star expectations. I have tried to reachout to the hotel via Trip to settle this privately; however, they have been unresponsive so I have been left no choice but to publicly share my disappointment."

"To miejsce jest urocze .. górne balkony mają ładny widok na taras i część laguny. host/właściciel jest naprawdę miły i sprawia, że każdy ranek dodatkowy śniadanie. To miejsce jest pół bloku w górę od doku publicznego w Lagoon i kilka bloków od centrum miasta, które przychodzi żywe w nocy! Przeszliśmy po całym obszarze i wybraliśmy to miejsce ponownie w bicie serca!"

"The rooms are nice and comfortable, but they lack storage space for your belongings. The included breakfast doesn't even offer a sauce. For the price, I think there are much better options. The customer isn't a priority. It's a shame for such a beautiful place, and they could improve it with minimal investment."

"Light, friendly room. Calm and still in the centre.. Top terrace for everyone. The birds of the evening at darkness are a great natural experience. But the hit is that you get a Day Pass daily for Mayan Playa. Paradise on Earth. With Uber to about 65 Mex. With taxi return 100 Mex. you feel like on the Maldives❤️"

"Great location nice rooms but if you're in the manatee suite the WiFi is poor in the areas you lie or sit, ie the bed and sofa... Constantly drops out.... However stand anywhere else in the room the connection is excellent, that needs sorting out"

"Plusy: wygodnie położony jest 1 km od stacji ADO, 1 km od kolekcjonalnie na Chetumal, 1 km od placu widzenia.Numer czysty, łóżko normalne.Na recepszen znajduje się woda pitna. Nie ma gorącej wody, ale płynie temperatura pokoju. Numer zabity, w łazience jest mąka."

"A beautiful view, but that's all. Uncertain comfort and mediocre cleanliness. No storage space. No room cleaning, and you have to ask for toilet paper. No breakfast either, and you have to fend for yourself. The facilities are very worn. The goal of maximizing profit has been achieved. Avoid at all costs."
