"I have never said this about a hotel stay before, and we have been on five continents. "PERFECTION", yes, really, in every aspect of our stay. You name the category, and it was all beyond our very high expectations at a very reasonable price for how we stayed in a suite package. We also liked the overall layout, decor and dress for it's authentic 'german-ness'. This may sound strange, but for those of you who abhor and understand some of the fake-ness that pollutes many venues. This hotel, its staff and its owners understand and deliver a relaxing authenticity not often found. Diners in shorts and T-shirt, my retirement uniform, were abundant along with whatever else the very upscale guests wanted to wear. We met a number of very interesting people, many who had been coming to this jewel in the South Harz for many years again and again. This fact is it's own statement of quality. Well done and run Nora and Josef Oelkers and Staff. We will be back as soon as possible."

"Mieliśmy urocze trzy noce pobytu. Niektóre pokoje zostały odnowione bardziej niż inne, ale wszystkie tak samo wygodne. Pod prysznicem było bardzo ciepłą woda i ogrzewacze się do pokoju super dobrze! Śniadanie było bardzo przyjemne z wielu rodzajów serów i mięsa. One sprawiają, że jajka w sposób, w jaki je preferujesz. Nie mają bardzo wielu miejsc parkingowych, ale można parkować na pobliskich ulicach, jeśli to konieczne."
