"Wspaniałe pobyt na ranczu - dziękuję naszym gospodarzom. Uwielbialiśmy jazdę konną i linię zip - wspaniałe doświadczenie osobiste z przewodnikami Larry i Christopher. Jenny i personel kuchni przygotował smaczne posiłki i byli bardzo mile widziani. Również wykonał miły mały spacer po ziemi (mniej niż godzinę). Pokój był czysty i miał podstawy, które potrzebowaliśmy. Tak jak reklama. Przynieś swój własny szampon-kondyktor. To bardzo wiatrowe miejsce - więc kurtka i długie spodnie na eve są potrzebne w tym czasie roku. #1 wskazówka nie używać Google Maps z Liberii dostać się do rancza. To nas w niewłaściwym kierunku. Użyj Waze i upewnij się, że widzisz autostrady, które wskazują hosts. Poleca ten ranczo dla każdego, kto szuka wyjątkowego aktywnego doświadczenia."

"Pobyliśmy w grudniu 2024 w bardzo prywatnym kabinie kakaowe. Śniadanie było różne codziennie i było wyjątkowe (gorące czekolada z kakao dla ich dziedziny). Miło było nie dzielić się żabami z innymi gościami (tylko dźwięki żab w nocy i ptaków rano). W nocy moglibyśmy szukać żab w ogrodzie z właścicielem. Miejsce było bardzo czyste i wygodne. Gospodarze byli bardzo ciepłe i kochaliśmy się dowiedzieć się o kulturze Costa Rica. prysznic jest gorącą wodą na żądanie, więc można zmienić temperaturę na gorącą lub chłodniej na diecie prysznicowej (na podstawie sezonu). Mała kuchnia z niezbędnymi podstawami została włączona. Polecali tylko wycieczki i restauracje, które były znane i zatwierdzone. W pobliżu uroczego parku narodowego z wodospadami, wszystkie rodzaje wycieczek są dostępne w tym obszarze i lepsze niż Monteverde z obfitym dziką żywotnością (widzieliśmy 2 i 3 łopatki, toukany, żaby w ogrodzie). "Stay at Finca Mei Tai if you want an authentic stay in Costa Rica close to the Tenorio national park and Rio Celeste. You will feel like part of the family when you leave. This is not a place for you if you want ultra luxurious air-conditioned accommodations. Our family loved our three night stay in the Manta bungalow, a wooden structure on a small pond at the edge of a mountainous rainforest. Finca Mei tai is an operating cacao farm and bed-and-breakfast. The manta bungalow has a spacious outdoor living area and kitchen as well as two separate enclosed bedrooms with a large bathroom that connects the two bedrooms. There was plenty of room for our family of four. The bird watching from the patio area was outstanding and a huge hit with my bird-loving daughter as we saw countless parrots and toucans. Our son enjoyed exploring the trails on the property as well as fishing in the ponds. The best part of the Finca, however, is the delicious made-to-order breakfast that Cecile will serve each morning. We enjoyed fresh-squeezed juices, French press local arabica coffee, made-to-order eggs, homemade bread, locally sourced jams, and even world-class chocolates made with their cacao beans. Cecile has many great suggestions of local places to visit and eat. Take the time to explore the grounds. A stay here is a unique and personal experience, and we hope to return soon!"

"My wife and I spent a very enjoyable 3 days here in Feb. 2024. The lodge is beautiful, located within a working ranch and large private natural area. Our room was clean and comfortable. Although it was quite hot and dry, we enjoyed nature activities in the morning and evening, and lounging by the pool in the afternoon. Our favorite activities were birdwatching on our own or with guide Santos Molina. He was excellent - very knowledgeable and attentive to our interests. The birds were awesome! The staff were all competent and helpful. The food was delicious but options were limited. At check-in, I mentioned that I am lactose-intolerant, and they were very careful to not include dairy in my meals. I really appreciated that. We have only a couple suggestions for improvement: 1) have written materials for guests, such as a map, menu and price list for excursions; 2) do a better job of picking up litter."

"Zarezerwowałem się w ostatniej chwili, ale nigdy nie żałuję tego. Ta nieruchomość jest poza moimi oczekiwaniami i dobrze zarządzany i zorganizowany. Śniadanie jest również dobry lunch. Mają ładny basen i widok jest również fantastyczny. Vibe jest zdecydowanie świetne miejsce na chłodne wakacje. I jest blisko większości lokalizacji."

"We had a wonderful stay at Cataraas Bijagua Lodge! Werner the owner/host was extremely accommodating and helpful in booking tours and advising us on what to do, and when to do it! The cabins are spacious, CLEAN, and modern, yet rustic, and right in the rain forest, steps to a trail right off the property that leads to a beautiful waterfall. There are several restaurants in the town of Bijagua (about a 5-6 minute drive from the Lodge), but we chose to eat all our dinners in the open air covered patio at the Lodge. Our main server, Natalie, was amazing and very friendly, and the food was delicious, especially the "Garlic Fish"! All the staff were great! If you're looking for a low-key, quiet retreat in the rain forest, this is it!! We'll be back! David & Joanie"
