it was indeed pleasure to visit Kanthi resorts on diwali weekend. the time we arrived front desk was really welcoming. surprised as resort was busy when our luggage arrived to our room the gentlemen was very polite and explained intercom facilities and Resort Facilities. later got to know he is Front Desk ***ager Mr. Sagar. really impress with the positive attitude. Rooms are really huge and very comfy bed. clean and hygiene bathrooms and clean sheets on bed. Room amenities were satisfying. Restaurant service is little slow may be heavy traffic. food taste was good. over all pleasant stay at Kanthi.

Well, as the reviews says , they definitely need to maintain the restaurant amenities which is the most important part. The rooms are spacious and clean but some rooms are not maintained properly. The flush isn't working in some rooms or broken, the water comes out of the basin, the comodes are broken in some rooms. AC aren't maintained properly , they don't have remote controls , you have to switch off through switch , you can't control the temprature. Some rooms have TV facility some rooms doesn't. Even if you're paying same amount for each and every room , it's on your luck to receive fully functional room. Coming to the food , food you get here is really good. But more options in the breakfast menu can be added. Slow service is the main issue here, if you're on time you can be lucky otherwise brace yourself to wait for a long time. Overall, if you're charging this much you can atleast maintain the rooms? It says international and it's not national worth as the rooms are not properly maintained

We stayed there on 8 March 2023 The hotel is right on the busy road, Thin and worn out grey towels, smelly pillows, dirty cups in the room, no tea, coffee, milk, spoons in the room, lukewarm shower, Reception staff offered to change the room and showed 2 more rooms - all had patches of dirt here and there, monkeys on the window, blown out bulbs in the bathroom, nice food in the restaurant but hair found in the curry and the restaurant tariff was relatively expensive. This turned out to be the worst of all the hotels we stayed during our tour of south India. The added disappointment was because of the driver (Yusuf) who was allocated to us by the hotel to take us around for sightseeing at Badami caves and Hampi. He made us hire an auto-rickshaw at Hampi for an additional charge of Rs 1000 to take us to various points of attraction where he was supposed to take us and was already paid for it. At the end of the tour, he also de***ded a large additional amount of money to pay for toll fee, waiting and parking charges. This was in spite of the fact that the car hire was already paid for in full, inclusive of all charges. It was not until I rang up my travel agent in Kolkata that he allowed us to leave.

This is a tourist town with many caves around the town. This hotel should rank second in the town, next to clack inn. The hotel is not self-service early, it is your own point, but not limited. Hotel health is barely okay, but the water coming out of the faucet is orange, very dirty, and the hot water is not very hot. If you want to go to the local area, still live clack inn in the town.
