We really enjoyed our time at this hotel. The owner is very kind and thoughtful - he wanted to accommodate Westerners and we really appreciated the thought. The breakfast was delicious (we enjoy Chinese breakfast!) and the owner put a lot of heart into his cooking. The hot shower was perfect at the end of a cold day sightseeing. The location is right near the ancient city, but still quiet enough for a good rest. We would definitely stay here again!

This hotel is a gem! Will definitely stay here again whenever i’m visiting Shangri-La. The staff are all very welcoming and friendly, not to mention the perfect view from the room, and also the private backyard with the cute dogs, swan, goat and pony! The barista 宇麒 is very nice to offer us drinks while we are waiting for our scheduled train departure. The staff work as a team and all of them are approachable whenever we need any help / information. For example, they offer driver to drive us around to our point of interest. We also had a 20-minute photoshoot from 伯爵写真 which is located inside the hotel, the photographer was very nice too! Overall a very nice stay here, highly recommended!

It’s my first time here at Shangri-la and I had the best 4 nights at this family-run inn.
The inn is conveniently located within the ancient town and it is situated near the world’s largest prayer wheel of the great Buddha temple.
The family’s son personally drove down to the airport past midnight to help us transport our luggages to the inn.
Upon arrival, we are greeted with some of the best tea and snacks unique to Shangri-la.
The room is Japanese style, making way for plenty of natural light. It is also clean. More importantly, it is well equipped with room heater, floor heater, oxygen concentrator, and humidifier, which are essential to a good night’s sleep.
The family would always invite us for their family meals, and the lady boss even made 土豆丝 and 牛肉包子 for us when she learnt that it’s our favourite dish! She is an enthusiastic lady who would always make sure our stomachs are full. She also makes amazing pickles, something I would miss greatly.
The family’s son has good knowledge of the place and would notify us of the festivities that are happening. He also knows some of the best places to eat and do ******* style photoshoot.
Overall, my stay at Ganlo felt like home, and I would highly recommend this place to everyone who is looking to have a good time.

Mainly want to say that their hotel location is very good, just in the ancient city, the east gate comes in 100 meters, walk to Moonlight Square for 2 minutes. Very easy to find. When you arrive at the hotel, stop the car, the parking lot is at the entrance of the hotel, super convenient! !
Facilities: Their hotel facilities are very complete. The main plateau must have an oxygen generator. Although I don't have a high reaction, I have this thing to be practical.
Hygienic: The room is very clean and the bathroom is very clean and there is no smell. Their bed is very comfortable to sleep in, I don't like very soft ones. I asked the proprietress and he said that it was customized with latex and brown mats.

With Diqing National History and Culture Exhibition Hall, Diqingminzu Culture Square and Guishan Park all within a short distance, there is no shortage of things to do in the area. Here’s why:
1. Rooms were spacious and came with heated floors. Great for us tropical dwellers who aren’t so good with the cold! Oxygen was pumped into the rooms from 630pm onwards, which helped with the high altitude in Shangri-la. One thing that stood out for us was definitely the 100 inch Xiaomi TV, a great theatre experience!
2. Breakfast was sumptuous! We could choose from three varieties: Western, Chinese or *******. The food was plentiful and yummy, especially the 糯米鸡 which they served us on our last day! Two bowls of 甜汤 would also be brought to our room every evening, we loved this little detail!
3. Service is impeccable! 扎西 was responsive and provided great advice on the things to do in Shangri-la. She recommended that we rent electric scooters to scoot around Napahai lake, and that turned out to be one of the best experiences we had in Yunnan! Her warm cheerful laughter, great personality and top notch service made our trip awesome ☺️
Although this probably isn’t the St Regis you’re thinking of, it has all the makings of a high end hotel chain at a much affordable price point! We 12/10 would recommend staying here on your next trip to Shangri-la. Thank you again!

TToutoudechabeiThis is the second time I came to Shangri-La with my wife. I accidentally saw this hot spring tent camp on Trip.com. The first time I noticed it was its unique location. Valley and plateau hot springs have a strong attraction for small potatoes like our coastal city.
After the actual stay, this hotel really exceeded expectations. The hotel environment is really great! More than a dozen tent rooms are located by the lake. Every time you open the camp account, you will see the invincible scenery. You can see the water birds playing, and you can also see the horses eating grass on the opposite pasture. Even sitting by the lake for an afternoon will not feel tired. It's so healing!
The hotel reception hall is bright and tidy, and very design. Floor-to-ceiling windows face the lake. You can sit down and have a cup of coffee is very comfortable!
The facilities in the tent are all available, clean and tidy, with a separate bathroom. The air conditioner in the account is also very warm, so don't worry about winter. The store also prepared a humidifier very intimately, praise!
Of course, the most worth mentioning is the hot spring private soup in the hotel, the privacy is good, the real geothermal spring water, the temperature is strong, and all the fatigue is gone after the night, it is really amazing!
Staying in the city for a long time really will yearn for nature, this trip to Shangri-La, here is really the most surprising point for me, look at the lake, look at the starry sky, as if the whole world has slowed down!

GGuest UserThis B&B must be ranked number one in Tiger Leaping Gorge! I looked at a lot about the accommodation environment and took a quick look at it. Sure enough, there is no seller’s show or buyer’s show. It can be said that the pictures are not as beautiful as the real scene! The two bosses are very down-to-earth people. It can be said that they are working very hard on this B&B. Unfortunately, they don’t know how to market it and have too little exposure. But consumers must tell the truth. It’s really great. The food, accommodation and transportation services are not even mentioned! I met many like-minded friends here. It was a very happy trip. I will come again if I have the opportunity!

Guesthouse is located in a busy main road and short walking distance into ancient town.
Staffs were helpful & friendy. There are some minor issues within the rooms, but they were quick enough to resolve it.
All rooms was clean and spacious for 2. The room supplied oxygen all the day and heating floor is another plus.
Breakfast was the same during our stay.

Facilities: First of all, let’s talk about the facilities, which are all smart and very practical. Projectors, feeding machines, and humidifiers. The most important thing to mention is the floor heating fireplace, because the temperature difference in Shangri-La is too big, and the heating is so fragrant. By the way, the Dyson hair dryer is absolutely Good reviews.
Hygiene: It's very clean. It's very comfortable when you enter the room. I like it overall.
Environment: The location in the ancient city is really good. We walked for 5 minutes from Sifang Street. It was very convenient to visit the ancient city. The most important thing is that the second floor has a perfect view. You can see the Grand Theater, prayer wheels, and Duke Zonghua Lane (because it is right there (Later) I won’t go into the picture directly, but I recommend it.
Service: The boss and the lady boss are very nice and considerate. The travel guide provided by the lady boss is really useful and very worry-free❤️. I don’t think I need to do any homework.
Key point: It is really important to have a parking lot. Anyone who travels by car knows this. There is no need to look around or walk.

Hhee senunique, excellent service, location, meals and room.
Owner couple went out of their way to serve guests. They cooked the best meal in the area so no need to find food elsewhere.
They arranged transport for us to go to Shangrila, Lijian Airport and the hiking trails.
We were also invited to a wedding party in the Village high up i the mountain. Joyous celebration of dance and song with the whole village.
our last day was the special day where the villagers slaughter their own pigs to make preserved meat. We were again invited to the farms high up in the mountain and had a most unique experience of live pig slaughtering and BBQ. No tour will ever offer this.
As hotel, the accommodation is excellent for the price. Our room overlooks the gorge and mountain. The heated bed is great touch and comfort.
Can see stars in the sky at night from the room balcony.
Family run and treat guests like family. Highly recommended.

BBrownI have stayed in many hotels in Shangrila old town over the past 12 years so have a little experience. Location: Close to the top dancing square but at the top of a very steep hill. It had rained so the stone street was VERY slippery. It is close to impossible to walk up the hill with suitcase. There is a 1/2 meter wide ***** of carpet that was laid down on the right side of the road going up the hill. It gave great traction, but unfortunately some non-thinking person had parked their electric cart directly on top of the carpet so you could not navigate it. I arrived at 6 PM and that electric cart was still sitting on the carpet in the same place the next morning at 9 AM. Trying to walk around the electric cart , but I did slip and fell to the ground. I would not come back to this hotel again, if there was any potential for any rain. The picture is of the morning after the rain had dried. When I booked my room, they did tell me that there was only one room remaining and it was for four people. I was solo but I booked it anyway. Unfortunately, I did not understand that there are four beds that are actually side-by-side touching each other. They are very very thin pads laid on top of a wooden platform. No way to get into or out of any bed without crawling back to the foot of the bed and going over the edge that way. It was the hardest sleeping service I have ever been on and got very little sleep. If I had my sleeping bag and camping mattress, I would’ve just slept on the floor. Won’t be back here again. The service people at the hotel were very nice. Offered to carry my bag up to my room on the third floor and the woman who provided the breakfast in the morning was very pleasant. Have no complain about the service just the beds in the access to the hotel. If it’s raining, make it a no go for me

MMUHAMAD AKMALHad a pleasant stay at this hotel. For the rate that we paid which included the railway pick up and breakfast, we have no complaint at all. On top of that, as we arrived earlier than the usual check in time, the hotel was gracious enough to allow us for early check in. It was a short drive from the railway station to the hotel. The communications were done via wechat and it was all smooth as we can communicate using the wechat translator.
Our room were located on the third floor. It was steep stairs but we managed. The room was spacious enough for both of us. It has all the basic necessities and clean. There was also heated bed which was good as it was cold in Shangrila. The hotel also have luggage storage after check out which was good as we could continue exploring the city until it was time to take our train in the late afternoon. As for the breakfast, it was served at a diner across the street. There were mutliple set breakfast choices. Simple breakfast but technically it was enough for us as we dont have much option anyway as a muslim with specific food requirement. Croissant, eggs and fruits were good enough with tea and coffee.
The location of the hotel is really near to the Dukezong Ancient Town. Less than 5 minutes walk. It was rather convenient as we went back to the ancient town at the night time and has no trouble to find our way back to the hotel by foot. Also it is easy to get public transport at the area.
The hotel really looks photogenic ni the pictures especially at night time when all the lights were on.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel has a very good environment. It is about five kilometers away from the city and more than 2 kilometers away from Songzanlin Temple. Parking is very convenient. The room is very good, complete facilities, clean and tidy. The bathroom has a bathtub and separate shower, with wet and dry separation. The quilt was very thick, and it was so hot that I couldn't sleep. Since there was no blanket, I had to make do with it. I didn't realize the quilt was thick until I fell asleep in the early morning, so I didn't ask the front desk if I could change the quilt. It was a fly in the ointment. There are many varieties of breakfast, the taste is good, the attitude of the waiters is very good, overall I am very satisfied!
