„We had to extend our stay to three nights as our cruise dates were changed. The manager was so kind and offered us an upgrade. I’m truly grateful for that because the view from our room was amazing. It’s pretty hot during the day, so we stayed indoor during the day and went out later on in the afternoon. The only downside of the hotel is its distance from downtown Aswan. There are no stores or shops close by, so do plan your meals ahead of time or you can have lunch or dinner at the rooftop of the hotel. The entrance of the hotel is kind of hidden. You need to walk down a set of steep stairs to get into the building, then to a different floor to check in. The room had everything we needed for the stay. It’s quite spacious and had a fridge, TV and and big closet. There is a bathtub in the bathroom but the shower area doesn’t have a door. The AC works great and kept us nice and cool. We had breakfast everyday, and the content is pretty similar to all other Egyptian hotels but it’ll keep you full if you finish everything. If you don’t like the hustle bustle near the center of Aswan and don’t mind the walk or taking cab, this would be a good option for a quiet, peaceful stay with a great view of the Nile.”

„Wonderful service - guard and porter at the front, efficient front desk, upgraded to a Nile room. Pool side was great with a view of the Nile, plenty of chairs and fresh towels,  although bar staff sometimes a little slow on drink and food refills this could be forgiven Buffet breakfast had a good selection including eggs made to order, staff very attentive Dinner selection was OK but again great service ”

„HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! First of all it is like a staying with your family far from home, in a very tourist welcoming area in general but also the hotel. All Nubian people are welcoming and honest; especially if you are coming from somewhere other than Egypt you will feel refreshed getting rid of bargaining. Hotel arranged an Abu Simbel transportation (which was 3 hours away)with lunch box for us early in the morning at 04:00 am we came back around 1 pm and take a tour to Philae Temple then came back to hotel (which was our cozy home) and Ahmed took us to village as a local, guided as and provided fair prices, we experienced their culture seeing the magnificently painted surroundings also jumping in local houses with tortoise and crocodiles, and they have provided us transportation to Aswan Train Station. I even felt sad because of leaving a place with full of brothers. Thanks to Ahmed (both), Ms Mai, Mohammed and Islam. It was an amazing experience, you shall not say i’ve visited Egypt before seeing Nubian Village.”

„When I read the reviews, I wasn’t sure if I should stay here—but in the end, I’m so grateful I made this amazing decision. I was traveling alone and prefer a slower pace rather than rushing from one tourist spot to another. I originally booked for three days but ended up extending my stay by one more night because I absolutely loved the environment here. Transportation: If you’re using INDRIVE, the correct location to input is Pyramisa Isis Island pick-up point. However, on Google Maps, you can also navigate to Travel with Weso—it’s the same place. From there, wait for the shuttle boat, which comes about every 10 minutes. The ride to the hotel takes around 7 minutes. During my stay, I visited Abu Simbel Temple and Philae Temple, but you need to first take the shuttle boat back to the city to start those trips. Service: Huge thanks to Manager Christine. After a 12-hour train ride to get here, her warm smile and kind service made me feel instantly at home. She arranged an early check-in and even upgraded my room to one with a beautiful balcony overlooking the Nile. The front desk staff were also incredibly friendly. The whole experience was so touching that on my last night, I had tears in my eyes as I passed the reception. They noticed, and when I got back to my room, I received a call just to check in on me. During breakfast, the servers were attentive and often engaged in light conversation, which made the whole experience feel warm and relaxing. Facilities: As mentioned in other reviews, the facilities are a bit dated. But in my personal experience, the cleanliness was acceptable. Previously, I stayed in a Pyramid View room at Mena House in Cairo, and honestly, I found the cleanliness to be similar. Perhaps it wasn’t great in the past, but maybe they’ve improved. The breakfast is buffet-style with a modest but sufficient variety: about 5–6 types of bread, a salad section, hot dishes, and beverages. Sailing Experience: This was the highlight of my stay, and I highly recommend it. Ask for Captain SAFI—a reliable and professional Nubian sailor. You can find him right next to the hotel’s dock, so there’s no need to go all the way into town to book a sailboat. These boats serve only hotel guests, so the service quality is excellent. Just agree on a price you’re comfortable with—there’s no hard selling. Even better, they are happy to tailor the experience to your preferences, including timing and what kind of scenery you’d like to see. I love the Nile, so I ended up doing four days of sailing. • On the first day, I enjoyed a one-hour sunset cruise. • On the second day, I swam in the shallow waters of the Nile for two hours, then visited a Nubian village, returning to watch the sunset on the river. • On the third day, Captain SAFI introduced me to beautiful water-bound trees and I swam again. I later found out they even offer full-day trips where you can drift along the Nile on the sailboat—but sadly, I was about to leave. These few days were deeply immersive and serene. The gentle, peaceful Nile has become one of the most special and unforgettable memories of my life. I’m especially thankful to the thoughtful Captain SAFI for such a wonderful experience. ⭐️ I hope those of you choosing to stay here will fully experience the magic of the Nile. „I had an excellent stay at Malindy Ka Nubian House in Aswan. The hospitality of Mr Mohamed was truly outstanding, and the entire team was very friendly, helpful, and always prompt in responding to any questions or requests. Mr. Mohamed guided us very well during our stay and helped with everything we needed in Aswan, including local travel tips and arrangements. The Abu Simbel tour arrangements were very good and budget-friendly, which made the experience smooth and comfortable. The location itself is peaceful and quiet, giving a beautiful experience of Nubian culture and lifestyle. The artistic paintings and decorations both inside and outside the property were beautiful and added a unique cultural touch to the stay. The room was very neat, clean, and comfortable. Even a late-night dinner was quickly arranged for us, which we truly appreciated. If guests have any specific food preferences, it is better to inform them earlier so they can check the availability and prepare accordingly. For travelers arriving at Aswan Airport, using the Indrive app can also be very helpful for transportation. Overall, everything was perfect, and we had a wonderful experience staying here. „設施：很好，房間在高處，門口有花圃。酒店自帶餐廳，烤魚米飯很好吃！早餐簡單了點，但是服務態度很好。 衞生：非常乾淨，地上掉了米粒，服務員結賬的時候順手都要清理走。 環境：遠處可以看到菲萊神廟。對於看了太多神廟懶得再坐船專門去看的人來説，是一個大加分項。 服務：非常好！老闆大叔、主廚大叔都很認真，抵達當天就會詢問第二天日程，以及出發趕航班時間，提前安排好船。在阿斯旺市區遊玩後想回程的話，建議提前半小時聯繫酒店安排好船來接。去酒店的船碼頭打車位置建議indrive或谷歌搜尋“benben酒店打車點”，當地司機都認識。這個價格和view，真沒有可以挑剔的了。建議在酒店直接看落日，不要去阿斯旺市區。這次最後悔的就是折騰去老瀑布酒店那邊坐啥落日帆船，還沒有這個酒店餐廳坐着看落日更美，可惜錯過了。”

„The hotel is not as good as expected. There’s no Nile view from our room, located at 2nd floor nor from the restaurant, so we didn’t see Nile from the hotel at all. The service didn’t make us feel welcomed. The receptionist didn’t say hello or welcome, and looked impatient. When we asked if the hotel has first aid kit, as my husband was scratched by a cat and needed sanitary treatment, the receptionist just directly said “No”, although he promised to check and came back to us, he didn’t… The room is good but the bathroom is quite old and the AC heat function didn’t work - it’s just around 8 degree during night in Aswan.”
