We love staying in historic hotels, and this one is beautiful. My only suggestion would be to update the tile surroundings the shower with historically accurate tile.

Love the hotel but the add ons are a little ridiculous. they have a 4pm check in and you can pay $35 for earlier. Parking is difficult so you will pay $45 valet. 55 with tip. also $35 to check out late. So the room is 170 and the check in early, valet and check out late is 125. throw in some tax and other and the room is almost double. meh

The staff were very friendly. Getting off the elevator, I was very skeptical. It looks like a run down place. The room and bathroom are outdated. The chair in the room was peeling and dirty. The bathroom is extremely small and so outdated, it just looked dirty. Would I stay here again, probably not. The bar was packed both nights.

Overall a good stay! We stayed on the 12th floor and the only issue we had was the windows didn’t lock. It was about 5 degrees outside and the was a “breeze” coming in both windows. Couldn’t switch rooms because it was sold out for the Ravens game.

No room available to check in as late as 4pm. Wanted to charge an extra fee for an “early” check in at 3pm.

Called the day before check in to see if the early check in fee could be waived due to a bad storm coming in the afternoon the following day. The lady at the desk assured me they would waive the fee and there would be no issues due to the weather. The next day I show up and the front desk lady (different person) laughed in my face and said no we aren’t waiving the fee you need to pay the early check in fee. Decided to pay it so we could check in, the room was fine other than some small ants in the drawer by the bed we found the next morning? The restaurant had good drinks but the food wasn’t very good. The artichoke dip was just a melted block of cheese and very greasy. Overall pretty average for a $200 stay

Beautiful hotel. We needed an accessible room and it was perfect. Comfortable beds, room for a wheelchair and 3 adults. Tavern food was excellent. Valet parking convenient.
