Check in time stated as 2pm. I reached the hotel around 3pm, got informed that the room wasn't ready due to the previous customer (their member with platinum level) , who has the right to check out late. Despite the hotel was fully booked that day. I was asked to wait another hour (4pm) before I can get to check into the room. This hotel policy just doesn't make sense.
Apart from this awful experience. The hotel is at a good location (less than 5mins walk to the guloudajie subway), room was comfortable, clean and equipped with the AI voice/smart control. A supermarket nearby and few eatery places (include MCD) too.
Great customer service especially the staff (male) who assisted my booking on 10 Nov 2024 3pm (forgot to get his name) . He has an excellent attitude, attentive to the issue and provided a reasonable compensation (room upgrade & 2hrs delayed check out) . I understand that he might have no control to change the hotel policy, but truly appreciate that he did not just brush it off and offered a better solution.
There was no remarks made for my late check out time tho, even I have confirmed via wechat the day before. I received a call around 11:45pm from a female staff who asked if I am going to check out soon. I was asking isn't my check out time is extended to 2pm, her response was not pleasent, until I told her that I had confirmed via wechat yesterday. Then she apologised and said will made a remarks.
