Tiananmen Square
SshermaineeeThe place is massive way bigger than I imagined and surrounded by all these important landmarks like the Forbidden City and the Great Hall of the People. The giant portrait of Chairman Mao really stands out, and it’s impossible not to feel the history here. There were tons of people, some taking photos, others just strolling around. I stayed long enough to catch the flag-raising, and it was so precise and serious it gave me chills.
The Palace Museum
有有空噢Guide Li is definitely a NO.1 in the tour guide. He is witty and humorous. He can combine history and modern organically, explain it together, and understand it! The Forbidden City explanation is not his! Next time I come to Beijing, I will definitely ask Guide Li again!
Universal Beijing Resort
__TS***2yIt was a great experience. Fantastic rides and so many things to see. Food and drinks are very expensive. But overall a lot of fun.
The Temple of Heaven Park
MM52***83The Temple of Heaven is located on the east side of Yongdingmen Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing. It was the place where the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties held ceremonies of offering sacrifices to heaven and praying for good harvests and rain during the winter solstice. It is also the largest existing ancient sacrificial building complex in China. In winter, the Temple of Heaven Park is peaceful and the sky is clear. Every scenic spot in the Temple of Heaven under the blue sky exudes a unique charm. The blue glazed tiles echo the color of the sky, as if they are integrated into one. The bright red palace walls and white marble railings sparkle in the sun. Under the Shuanghuan Wanshou Pavilion, there are many elderly people relaxing and basking in the sun. There are too many old pine trees in the park, which are worth visiting.
Wangfujing
Hhhhhhhhhhhhh123Wangfujing is a nice and bustling shopping street with many different shopping malls! There are many places to eat and shop. Recommend
Qianmen Street
漂漂泊的云1980Qianmen Street was known as Zhengyangmen Street during the Ming and Qing Dynasties to the Republic of China. It was officially named Qianmen Street in 1965. In the middle of the Ming Dynasty, due to the development of commerce, there were many markets and streets on both sides of Qianmen Street, such as fresh fish mouth, pig (bead) mouth, coal market mouth, grain shop, etc. In the early Qing Dynasty, in order to maintain the dignity of the emperor's power, the opera garden, tea garden, brothel were only allowed to open outside the city, further promoting the prosperity of Qianmen Street. Qianmen Street is not only an important commercial street in Beijing, but also carries a rich history and culture. There are many famous Chinese brands, such as Quanjude Roast Duck Shop, Duyi Mai Restaurant, Yueshengzhai Sauce Meat Shop, Yilong Mutton Restaurant, Zhang Yiyuan Tea House, Dabei Photographer, etc. These old brands not only represent the commercial prosperity of Qianmen Street, but also become an important window for tourists to understand the culture of old Beijing.
National Museum of China
AAsat_KamadaThe museum is quite huge and separated into 2 wings and many floors. You should check out the floor plan first and decide which part you would be interested in. The most popular section seems to be the Ancient China which you have to queue to get in. There are both temporary and permanent exhibitions with lots of invaluable items and historical content to check out.
Yonghe Gong
AAnonymous UserOverall it's OK. It was a bit cold that day. It was very interesting to talk about Guide Li! One thing is that he doesn't control those who live on the island. Some of them may be that the Buddhist disciples don't want to be unhappy and care too much. People who don't spend money are still ahead of people who spend money. People who are in a hurry to spend money have no place, this point needs to be improved. First of all, I listen to the story, and then I go to my own contestants to open the light. The time needs to be arranged by myself. It takes nearly two hours to queue up for the contestants to go late. It's very fast to open the light. If you let everyone go first to choose bracelets, and then listen to the explanation, it can save some time.
Badaling Great Wall
AAnonymous UserIt is worth climbing the Great Wall. It is magnificent and majestic. Standing on the Great Wall, I think back to the past when people were very good. There were no machines and everything was built by hand. The technology of the ancient people was still very powerful.
