The hotel room looks like the pictures! Beautiful and clean. The room is well heated and the hot water is good. I really liked all the great food options nearby too!
Location can be hard to find. The hotels not even on MapsMe. I had to ask directions at the station and stop a few times for help. Maybe a map or instructions from Linheli station would be helpful. Other hotels in Beijing do this.
Unfortunately, the desk staff. staff were unwelcoming. They did not greet or give a friendly smile. They do not speak any English, and all communication is through an app. They are reluctant to offer any help to you and honestly I don't think they care what happens to you. Be very careful when they handle your passport too, the lady removed a re entry page from my passport, I had to point it out to her to put it back in my passport! I was shocked. Important paperwork should be handled carefully.
I asked where to get the shuttle bus and was told to turn right at the hotel entrance. I went to look if there was a sign, there was not. I asked another person for more specific location, she told me wait at the intersection. This is at the end of the road. I asked her to show me where on a map because I didn't want to miss the bus. This can be fixed if the hotel made a map for guests showing where the bus will be - it's at the Jingli Hotel, so staff could just say go to the Jingli Hotel.
Another thing that would help if the bus had an English sign with the hotels name. When I was trying to find the bus to return to the hotel I had to ask many drivers for help because all the signs are in Mandarin. Lucky I was early and didn't miss the bus. I'm very glad I only stayed here 2 nights, I will not book this hotel again, maybe try Jingli next time.
