Great location and good value for money. The reception is very kind and helpful when it comes to giving advice about where to go and how to get there.

I am extremely disappointed with booking service at the Indigo hotel. I made a non-refundable reservation at the hotel for two nights in September which also happens to be my birthday. Unfortunately our flight has been cancelled by the airline and we cannot arrive to France on this date. Therefore I sent a polite e-mail asking the hotel to consider a partial refund or having a chance to reschedule our stay, or anything really that would help me in this unpleasant situation. I am aware that I made a non-refundable booking, but taking into consideration it is an unusual situation, and that it is still 4 months to go and surely someone will book it it no time, I would expect a little more friendly customer service. Especially from a hotel that belongs to IHG group. The hotel's reply (from Celine) arrived a week after my inquiry, it was written like nobody cared, there was no "we are sorry your flight was cancelled" or "we would like to help but we cannot make an exception" or anything that showed respect and good will - just a plain "no, we cannot". We are fond travellers and have been fortunate to stay in such hotels as St Regis, Anantara, Sex Senses all over the world. In an Indigo hotel we made a booking twice. For the first, and definitely the last time.

When we booked Hotel Indigo, it was based on Tripadvisor reviews, especially those that commented on the friendly staff and the welcome at check-in. We stayed there for five days while others stayed at the Intercontinental and in discussion, we agreed we got the better deal. The staff, both at the front desk and at the rooftop bar were amazingly friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. We would happily recommend Indigo Hotel to anyone who wants a great Bordeaux experience. One minor thing. The French are not big tea drinkers, so if you are, bring some English Breakfast or EGT teabags from home.

Location is 25 minute drive from the airport and 15 minutes to the train station. 15 minute walk to the city centre. Next to the conference centre so but if a business hotel. Rooms very comfortable and well appointed, nice rainfall shower. Staff throughout friendly. Breakfast on the roof top was nice with great views and food on offer was great, including freshly cooked eggs of your choice

Superbly located hotel, just off the Rue de Notre Dame, absolutely perfect for sightseeing. The tram stop is about a 2 minute walk and the tram network is fantastic - from the airport to the hotel (about 30mins), to the main square/ theatre, to the Museum de Vin, etc. SO much to see around the Hotel too: a real taste of unspoiled France - buildings, bakery, etc. The hotel was clean, modern and comfortable. The room was a good size - very comfy. Good bathroom/ shower, with separate toilet. Reception check in was friendly, helpful and straight forward. Staff were great ambassadors for the hotel and the Group. Bar staff were professional and the bar has some amazing views.

Beautiful bedroom and bathroom. Lavish breakfast buffet even including eggs cooked to order. Very comfortable bed. Convenient adjacent parking garage and tram stop. Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. Free welcome cocktail is a nice touch.

Me and my wife spended one night at Indigo Birdeaux Hotel and we had a great time. The room is spacious and very comfortable ,the service is super friendly . and above all is the exeptional location. Very good value for money. Warmly recommended!!
