From the moment you arrive, it is clear that this resort sets itself apart through thoughtful design, exceptional hospitality, and a deep respect for both nature and guests. We stayed in rooms 1301 and 1302, both king-size bed rooms with what I believe are among the best views in the entire resort. Waking up to the dramatic karst landscape and tranquil surroundings was unforgettable, and the rooms themselves were spacious, elegant, and perfectly maintained. The dining experience was outstanding, both at breakfast and dinner. Breakfast featured a high-quality buffet with premium ingredients and a wide variety of options, while dinner from the à la carte menu was equally impressive in execution and flavor. Special recognition must go to the service staff—凌海艳、农汶燕、邓桂姣—whose attentiveness, warmth, and professionalism elevated every meal. Their service was genuinely memorable. On our first evening, Chef Long (龙大厨) personally came out to greet us, which was a wonderful and thoughtful touch. One dish in particular stood out: the handmade tofu pot. Using such a simple ingredient, the dish was surprisingly delicate, tender, and deeply flavorful—an excellent example of how great technique can transform humble ingredients into something exceptional. The spa and relaxation experience was equally seamless. 农丽芳, from the spa service team near the common relaxation area, thoughtfully arranged a battery car service for us, making transitions around the resort smooth and effortless. Overall, the LUX Chongzuo Resort delivers excellence on every level—accommodation, views, cuisine, service, and amenities. It is not just a place to stay, but a destination in itself. If you are seeking the best Chongzuo has to offer, LUX is truly in a class of its own.

Amazing stay at Yunlu. Amazing service from the wonderful staff. Extremely quiet location. Beautiful scenery around. Great breakfast (no buffet). Large rooms with great views. Even a small pool (more for children). I cannot say enough good things about the amazing service that the staff provided. Joyous staff. Good feelings. Not much English spoken (well basically none as is usual in China based on my experience) but with the help of the various apps and a positive attitude this is practically not a real issue. It can even be fun. Anyway they fulfilled all my requests and more than that (incl. for the breakfast as I suffer from diabetes) and always made sure I was happy and enjoying my stay. The rooms I had (2 stays) were very large. The air conditioning was very efficient and silent. The views were so enjoyable (yes out there in Mingshi there are better views of course but still). The large bed was very comfortable. Big sofa, tables, chairs ... and a lot of space. Nice bathroom with good shower. A fridge was available and included some ”free” drinks. I found the location perfect as it is not in the village itself but on the other side of the little river. So it is very quiet. A very short drive to the village and even walking requires no more than 30 minutes. Restaurants are only available in the village and bike rentals are way cheaper in the village too. I would certainly not recommend the local shop close to the hotel for rentals as the deals proposed are absurd (well prices the owner articulated were simply exorbitant). I will definitely return to Mingshi as I loved the region and there is so much to discover. I will quite certainly look no further than the Yunlu. Location. Peacefulness. But above all because of the extraordinary customer friendly attitude and the good spirit of the ”team”.

We asked for assistance to book transportation but were turned down, when clearly it is listed as an amenity. Aside from that disappointing response, the rest of the hotel was okay. The breakfast was certainly a highlight, with the service staff prompt and the variety more than sufficient. Even non-chinese visitors will be okay with toast, yogurt, boiled and fried eggs, Chinese sausage, available. The porridge was not just rice porridge, but millet porridge. There was also soya bean with sweet and savory toppings. The room was clean and not too small. The second electrical plug on the desk cannot be used as the wire will get in the way. It might as well be USB points so that one can work on the laptop. The shower area is generously large, but needs to have a rack for clothes and to hang a towel so that one can finish the shower, dry off, and get dressed before emerging to the toilet area. In a sense, the room is practically built, but functionality-wise, just misses the mark, because of these all oversights. The room is clean, but in the corridors there is a pervading stench of old cigarette smoke which emanates into the room. Finally, the doors did not close easily, however, there is a high pitched alarm that goes off. One has to push the door in order for it to close properly.

The best thing about this place are the owners. Full of initiative and kindness, I am very appreciative of their initiative services. For example, they asked if I already had transportation for my next destination, then how much I was quoted. Then they said that was a fair price if it was right to the hotel, to just check and verify if it is so. This is a very helpful guidance for out-of-towners. The room is clean, and after 4 days of travel in the area, it is the only one that doesn't have any lingering smells of cigarette smoke. It is hard to find rooms like these, including rooms that claim to be smoke-free. The view from the room is great and it is nice to watch the birds fly over the border river. Birds are not constrained by fences. Bottles of water are provided, as are disposable towels, which I'm not a fan of, as well as soap, shampoo and so on. There is no separation of wet/dry areas, but slippers are provided. You may not get the best photos in such a homestay, but it is functional and practical, and everything works well, drainage and so on, which is more important. I would stay here again and I would recommend this place in a heartbeat.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Jinhua Kokusai Hotel, and I must say it was a truly comfortable and convenient experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, professional, and attentive to every detail, making check-in smooth and hassle-free. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed and a great city view. The amenities provided—such as high-speed Wi-Fi, bottled water, toiletries, and a work desk—made my business trip both productive and relaxing. Housekeeping was prompt and consistent throughout my stay. One of the highlights was the breakfast buffet. It offered a wide selection of both local Chinese dishes and international options. Everything was fresh and well-prepared. The restaurant staff was courteous and ensured the dining area was always tidy. The location of the hotel is also ideal, with easy access to nearby shopping areas, restaurants, and transportation. Whether you're here for business or leisure, the hotel’s surroundings are lively and convenient. Overall, I highly recommend Jinhua Kokusai Hotel for its excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and great value. I would definitely return on my next visit to Jinhua.

Fantastic central location near Caí Hong 彩虹 food street. Great pool, unfortunately only open 5:30 to 9:30 PM each day. If you don’t speak Chinese they’ll use translation apps but be patient.

Pokój jest bardzo duży, usługi są naprawdę dobre. Ludzie są bardzo ładni. Każdy wyjazd i wjazd przywitają się z tobą. Mam nowy pokój, a nie specjalne pozdrowienia. Najlepsze to serce ludzi, szczególnie dobro, które poczułyby się wśród ludzi w sposób uprzejmy, serdeczny, nawet lepiej niż wiele dużych miast.

再次入住去了趟友誼關，之前國慶來過，和家人出行，訂了兩間房，很開心能再次入住。酒店停車方便，門口和地下停車場都可以停；酒店位置在鬧市區出行方便，旁邊有美食街和賣水果的地方，早上步行去銀興農貿市場逛逛，吃個元氣滿滿的早餐，不錯的旅程休息地。

Nice and clean room, we enjoyed our stay there! It was very easy to store our bicycles in the lobby, the staff was very friendly and helpful. They don't speak English but will do their best to help you anyway.

The hotel is a little far from Chongzuo but you can hire a Didi for about 380RMB from the chongzuo train station. The hotel is located in a beautiful park where you can take a walk and see the 100 doors (I think it was called) and walk all the way to the border post 3. It's was surreal. Across the river you can see Vietnamese house and people. we waved. a drone showed up we left. To go to the waterfall we walked from the hotel to the tourist center. About a 45 minute walk. Not bad once you get there. The hotel is old and starting to show the tear. You can tell it was once great but no renovations have been made in forever. The carpet had stains on it. not tiny ones. The little mini balcony was dusty. The bed was big but on the hard side. The towels are frazzling it was unbelievable. The breakfast , if you are not full on on Chinese breakfast its a no no. AND no coffee EVEN though the COFFEE MACHINE looked like it had just been plugged off. sign sating being fixed. come on .It's a 4 diamond rating but it felt more like 2. It's also smaller than it links in the video and pics. There's an awesome restaurant at the entrance on the right. It made a whole lotta difference. Highly reccomend eating here. And we did!Twice. Food was not bad. definitely order the ribs. The staff is nice especially the restaurant lady. Would I stay again? NO
