„Its a very beautiful hotel . Staffs are friendly and smiling . They have huge breakfast selection but i would say its okay in taste wise. Walkable distance to Mingsha Mountain . If you are using a Didi or Taxi to come in this hotel either from airport or from Mogao Exhibition Center , its called Dunhuang Mountain Villa . I noticed that taxi drivers or the App doesnt pull or know The Silk Road Dunhuang Hotel.”

„The hotel is located next to a river, albeit dry during the winter. It is about 20 mins fast walk to the nearest busy night market. The reception is fast and efficient, comes with free coffee (in a tea-oriented China, this is a rarity) for the guest, plus the mandatory buckets of tea (of course). The room size is spacious, adequate to place 2 big luggage, with sufficient space & hanger to lay out all the winter clothing. Bed is comfortable, and the room heater was warm to endure -15C outside. The only downside might be the non-cooling fridge which we solve by placing our stuff (milk & oranges) outside the window for natural cooling. As for the breakfast, it is Chinese oriented, with the typical northern Chinese dishes, ********* sausage and soy drink.”

„We were not impressed, especially for the price. We've stayed at hotels that are similarly priced and expected much better. To be fair, the hotel itself is beautiful. The architecture, the room interiors, and the breakfast and drinks to get were all very nice. However, the problems started at arrival. We were told the afternoon tea was cancelled and the restaurant was fully booked because of an event. No one told us this in advance, which was very disappointing. The check-in was disorganized. The receptionist (who was also the manager) turned away to help someone else while I was still talking to her. She didn't give us our room keys, saying the bell boy would open the door. But when we got to the room, the bell boy had to walk all the way back to get the keys. The bell boys were actually very friendly and helpful—the only good part. To make things stranger, the female manager called me a few hours after we checked out. She asked how the event affected our stay. I was busy and rushing around, and the call worried me—I thought I had left something behind. Asking for our opinion after we left was too late. They should have asked us during our stay, or better yet, informed us before we even arrived. So, while the place is beautiful, the poor communication and service ruined the experience. We wouldn't stay here again for the price.”

„The hotel is beautiful! It is centrally located, right across the street from the night market. It is only a 15 minute drive from many of the major attractions. The hotel is also located in a mall with restaurants and shops. The rooms are very spacious, the bed is comfortable and the bathtub is luxurious. The staff is fantastic! Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The soundproofing is very good. The room is quite hot. The air conditioning did not work but we turned on the air purifier and added water to cool it down. This hotel is highly recommended!”

„I don’t usually bother leaving reviews, but our stay was such a pleasant one that I felt compelled to share. My husband and I truly enjoyed all five nights here. The experience absolutely lives up to the Sheraton name and the staff consistently went out of their way to help with anything we needed, especially 小刘 from the concierge team, who was exceptionally thoughtful and attentive. We were pleasantly surprised to find a humidifier in the room, such a considerate touch for a desert town with very dry air. Breakfast was another highlight, with a great spread including pancakes and waffles, which we really appreciated as international travelers. The location is also very convenient, just a 10-minute drive to the Mogao Grottoes. Overall, a very comfortable stay with great food without the need of leaving the hotel for dinner. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a place where comfort and service truly matter.”

„I booked a B&B that was incredibly good value for money this time. We got a twin room, which was spacious with plenty of open space – unlike some other B&Bs that cram things in and feel cramped. The cleanliness was excellent, and the decor was a simple yet cozy style with comfortable lighting. The facilities were quite new and comprehensive. Each room even had a washing machine, refrigerator, and sofa. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, a vanity mirror, and a hairdryer that was surprisingly efficient. Bathrobes and toiletries were also provided, which was very convenient. The owner and his wife were both very kind and their service was thoughtful. They were always smiling and enthusiastic when we met them, but in a way that felt natural and not at all forced. Communication with them was very easy. If we needed anything, like directions, borrowing something, or had a last-minute request, they pretty much always found a solution. I really commend them; you could genuinely feel they put their heart into running the place. Plus, the B&B has a dining area and kitchen in its small courtyard where you can order food. I have to especially praise the owner's cooking – the dishes he stir-fried were truly delicious! The home-style cooking was authentic, and the ingredients were very fresh. The meat was bought fresh from the market that morning; lamb chops bought in the morning appeared on our lunch table. If you have any dietary restrictions, just let them know in advance and they'll accommodate you. We told them we don't eat spicy food, and he didn't put any in, even saying he could show off his skills even more if we *could* handle spice. We ate every meal at the B&B and never went out, and we cleared our plates every time. I really wish I could eat the owner's cooking every day. There's also a backyard behind the B&B, which is quite spacious, with a few tables and camping chairs. After dinner, you can relax there with some tea and a chat. There are also swings and sand toys, which kept the kids happy. Overall, I was very satisfied with this stay. Every aspect was comfortable, and it truly felt like being at home. I think this is the highest level a hotel or B&B can achieve: allowing guests to truly relax and feel at ease, just like home. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit.”

Idyllic and relaxing resort-like property in the countryside, yet only 5-15 minutes drive away from the airport and major attractions. We deliberately chose this semi-rural location for a peaceful rest after the long sunny visits to Mogao Grottoes and Mingsha Mountain. So happy with our choice. The rooms are huge, new, clean and well furnished. The bed and duvet are luxuriously comfortable, it was so difficult to get out of bed. Breakfast is in the beautiful dining room behind the main building, surrounded by the lush garden. The home-cooked light healthy breakfast was nourishing, a welcomed contrast to the heavy greasy food in restaurants. The lobby has a convivial lounge area with generous supply of local snacks. Most importantly, the service of the two bosses and their staff have been heartwarming and filled with love. We felt like guests in their home. One day my elderly dad didn't go out. The owners even took care of my dad by including him in their team lunch and showed him around the property garden. We were so touched. Thank you Zhang An and team for this unforgettable lovely experience. We will be back.

這次住敦煌的天駟藝宿，感覺真是選對了。在敦煌待了四天，都住這裏，對於度假來説很適合。 👉民宿設計獨特，不是那種千篇一律的樣子，處處能感覺到花了心思，牆上掛的畫、擺的小擺件，都帶着點敦煌的味兒，又不會顯得刻意，讓人看着舒服。牆面的壁畫都是請畫家畫的，就算白天窩在這裏也會有很多驚喜。 👉房間裏的佈局也挺合理，空間很寬敞，物品擺放得恰到好處，走路、拿東西都方便，不會覺得擠。床睡得很舒服，我是睡眠質量不太好的人，竟然連續睡了七個小時。周邊特別安靜，睡得很沉，房內還有加濕器，滿足我的需求。 👉最驚喜的是房間都有獨立的閣樓觀景台，站在那兒能看到遠處的鳴沙山，尤其是傍晚的時候，吹着風，看着天邊慢慢變暗，看星空。早上要是起得早，還能看看日出喝喝茶，獨愛這一片小天地。 👉老闆人是本地的，真不錯，特別熱情，前台服務也很真誠和實在。本人屬於事兒多型😂，有啥小需求，跟老闆一説，他立馬就幫忙解決，感覺就像在朋友家做客一樣，特別親切。包括他們的早餐都是自己做的，水果是自家果園的，純天然🫶反正有什麼要包車或者怎麼玩怎麼買特產都可以問老闆🥰 🤘總的來説，在這兒住得是又舒心又踏實，下次來敦煌，肯定還選這兒，也會推薦給朋友。

Fantastic hotel, amazingly helpful staff who arranged a car to take us all the way to Hami when we couldn't get train tickets, were highly responsive at all hours of the day and night, and made sure we had everything we needed. Extremely comfortable and well appointed rooms. Perfect location right by the night markets and opposite the bus stop for the caves. Cannot fault it

先説優點：大堂，露天公區，房間的佈置和裝飾都是很美很好看的，很適合打卡拍照。床墊和床上用品也是很舒服的。房間有地暖，很好。 再説下缺點：1. 房間的傢俱和佈置是很有逼格的，但是衞生間和沖涼房像是出租屋風格，有點割裂。另外沖涼房的佈局不合理，裏面沒有掛衣服的位置，導致洗澡的時候要在房間脱光了再進去沖涼房，沖好之後再脱光出來，在冬天的時候是很冷很冷的，而且萬一房間還有其他人呢？ 2.沖涼房的花灑非常難調節水温，一下子太冷，一下子太熱，而且過幾分鐘會從37°突然重置到15°變成冷水（沒有調節過温度的情況下），然後又要手動調節，這個體驗非常不好，導致昨晚洗澡被冷水淋了2次（室外是零下的温度）。3. 早餐，對於1000元左右的酒店來説，早餐顯得非常簡單，衹有牛角包，雞蛋，牛奶，榨菜，蘭州拉麪（我們是要一早出發外帶早餐所以這個沒有吃上，至於為什麼要外帶，因為早餐要8點30才有，對於趕莫高窟或者其他景點的話這個時間太晚了）。 建議民宿改進不足的地方，前2晚在敦煌住過另外的酒店，價格比這個低，但體驗感要好得多，起碼早餐就豐富很多，7點就開始了，這裏我們住了2個晚上，早餐都是一樣的。

We said we were going to Crescent Lake and Mingsha Mountain. The boss took the initiative to drive us to the Middle Gate, saying that we could save 20 yuan on the shuttle bus fare. The next day, we signed up for a tour group to go out and play. The boss also sent us to the boarding point early in the morning. The boss was afraid that it would be inconvenient to go back after the Crescent Lake Music Festival, so he also came to pick us up, making our travel very convenient. The accommodation environment is also very good, and the steamed bun for breakfast is particularly large.

夢幻般的感覺 ，荒野體驗感很棒！ 住宿在荒野首先是看景色，沙漠山丘景色沒得説，雖然説在山腳下，但還是讓人心曠神怡。 空曠的地方拍照也非常不錯，人家給我們指導了，怎麼拍星空，並且提供了手機支架，太棒了 ps 麪來的一定要問管家或老闆要燭光馬燈（店家會免費提供）拍照氛圍太棒了 餐食方面，我們從店家那裡訂的燒烤，在房間露台吃的（在上面可以坐四個人，超過四個人就得到露台下面的沙地上用餐）
