„Baobab Safari Resort is located quite far from Surabaya city centre, but it is definitely worth the approximately 1-hour drive from Surabaya Airport. We booked two connecting rooms, both with balconies. We were assigned to Level 4, and the view was absolutely magnificent, overlooking Mount Arjuno and Mount Welirang. Waking up to the mountain scenery was truly refreshing. Cooling weather, fresh air and beautiful scenery. Food Experience The highlight of the meals was the Nasi Rawon. The beef was very tender—soft and melt-in-the-mouth—and the soup was rich and flavourful. The portion size was generous. Other food items were acceptable but nothing particularly outstanding. For breakfast, however, the buffet spread was rather limited, especially in terms of meat and protein options. Room & Amenities The room itself looked decent but slightly dated. That said, the beautiful view more than compensated for it. One important note: do stock up on your own bottled water before arriving. The hotel uses refillable glass bottles, and unfortunately, the wooden covers of the glass containers appeared very mouldy, which was quite off-putting. Activities & Environment There are plenty of activities available. A walk through the Enchanted Forest thats full of pine trees and feeding area for Capybara, Lama, Sheep is possible, though you’ll need to take a buggy from another area. The Safari Zoo is located separately but can be arranged by the hotel. Animals around the hotel can be fed according to scheduled timings. Waterbucks, however, can be fed with carrots 🥕, which were provided by the hotel on the day of check-in. The lobby and dining areas were a standout—beautifully designed and facing the roaming animals while still maintaining a safe boundary within their designated area. Animal Welfare I have always been quite sceptical about zoo animals in Indonesia due to past negative experiences, where animal welfare did not seem well cared for. However, Baobab Safari Resort truly changed my perspective. The environment is clean, the animals appear well fed, and I frequently saw zookeepers actively present in the animal areas, feeding hay and grass to the zebras, waterbucks, buffaloes, and giraffes. It was reassuring and heartening to see such care and commitment. This experience made me believe that proper education and responsible management really do help build a better environment for zoo animals. Overall, it was a meaningful and memorable stay for my family.”

„Staff menyambut kami dengan ramah, untuk makanan di sini baik resto maupun sarapan dari hotel rasanya enaakk 😍 karena kami nginapnya bukan weekend jadi sarapannya tidak ada buffet. Buat yang mau bawa anak oke banget tempat ini. Ada tempat bermain, kolam renang baik anak (saat ini masih direnovasi) maupun dewasa. Untuk spot foto banyak tempat yg instagramable!! Dari luar bangunannya memang seperti hotel2 lawas tapi interior dalam cukup modern. Minusnya: 1. Mungkin jalan menuju ke hotelnya yg memang menanjak bngt ya.. jadi kudu disiapkan betul kendaraannya 😊 2. Air panas di kamar saat pagi hari hangatnya gag bisa maksimal (padahal menjelang sore dan malam air panasnya bisa). Mungkin sangking dinginnya air gunung ya jadi panasnya gag bisa maksimal Secara keseluruhan puaass bngt!! Makasi Inna Tretes, semoga suatu saat kami bisa berkunjung kembali membawa anak2 😍”

„Położony w dzielnicy Dayu Park, znajduje się w środku, choć jest trochę od głównej bramy, ale strategicznie dostępny do D'Mountains, Spierbucks cafe, DeDuren Mas, Olive Beach, Callimera jest nadal w jednym kompleksowym, ale wiele dobrych miejsc do jedzenia. W samym hotelu jest bardzo przestronny, pokój jest dobry 👍👍👍 restauracja jest dobry widok, udogodnienia są dużo, parking jest dość odpowiedni. Niestety, usługa lub reakcja nie jest dobra, zwłaszcza w odniesieniu do tego pokojowego układu, należy go znacznie poprawić, aby być bardziej profesjonalnym w obsłudze rezerwacji pokoi i gości ponieważ ten hotel jest 4 gwiazdki, Serwis powinien być również bardziej dobry.Wielu robi konserwację szczególnie wnętrze i wokół korytarza, który jest kingbed pokój typu, więc nie czuć się nudny. Mam nadzieję, że będzie lepiej. Dla tych z rodzin, dobrze jest wziąć pokój w 100 bloku i specjalny bliźniak w każdym typie, z starszymi, którzy naprawdę trudno chodzić, można wziąć 200 bloku pokoi i królewski typ łóżka tuż nad lobby Ponieważ, aby iść do bliźniaka typu, Istnieje wiele schodów, które muszą - Przeszedł. Zewnętrzne jedzenie można znaleźć w gabinetu spożywczym w pobliżu bramy Dayu Park, istnieje wiele rodzajów żywności.”
