Gero – hotele ze śniadaniem

Onsen hotel offering excellent service, superb food and privacy. Service was next to nothing, staff offered Salmon sushi and malt tea at no extra cost as I choosed to skip breakfast to catch up with early bus schedule. The room was very clean and quite spacious. Dinner and breakfast was in Kaiseki style. The food was excellent, particularly the sashimi and the Hida beef (both grilled and sukiyaki).The use of local ingredients added to the uniqueness of the experience. The onsen was not big but cozy. Considering the hotel has about 20 rooms only, it offer very good privacy and I enjoyed the public bath twice alone in my 2 days stay. Rental private bath was a good surprise and worth to try if you are traveling in pair. Location is a bit far from train and bus station up on the top of the hill, but the the pickup service and a nice view of the mountain compensated for that.

下呂温泉位於日本三大名泉之一，以其優質的温泉水質和優美的自然環境而聞名。我在下呂温泉的一家傳統日式旅館的入住體驗非常愉快。 首先，旅館的建築風格融合了傳統的日式美學與現代舒適設施，讓人一踏入便能感受到濃厚的日式風情。旅館的服務人員非常熱情友好，他們用流利的日語和一些英語為我提供了周到的服務，讓我感到賓至如歸。 接下來是温泉體驗，下呂温泉的水質清澈，含有豐富的礦物質，對皮膚有很好的滋養作用。我特別喜歡在露天温泉中泡澡，尤其是在夜晚，一邊享受着温暖的泉水，一邊仰望星空，那種寧靜和放鬆的感覺難以言表。 晚餐則是另一大亮點，旅館提供的懷石料理精緻美味，每一道菜都是藝術品，不僅色香味俱佳，而且食材新鮮，充分展現了日本料理的魅力。 總的來説，這次在下呂温泉的住宿體驗非常美好，無論是温泉、服務還是美食都給我留下了深刻的印象，是一次難忘的旅行經歷。

This is the best onsen hotel we’ve stayed in, among those we’ve stayed in for the past 12 years! We stayed here for 2 nights. We’ve extremely grateful to the hosts for their outstanding service and hospitality from the heart. Loved the thoughtfully varied menu for each meal. The establishment is spotlessly clean and excellently maintained. Each morning, our towels and yukata (hotel gowns) were replaced. So were the amenities ( fragrant green tea packs, snacks). The housekeeping staff even offered to mop our rooms after only one night’s stay. The wifi was also fast and sustained well in the guest room and public lounge areas. There are facilities to cater to a wide range of age groups from seniors like us and children too. There were ample resting chairs in the lounge and on the way to the historian’s well as guest rooms. The best facility was the hot springs! They are exactly as depicted in the hotel website. Numerous indoor pools of various temperature all have the renowned ‘beautifying’ odorless alkaline water. My skin felt so smooth and moisturized after only one soak. What’s more the hot springs stay open for in-house guests from 10.30 am to 11 pm and day-trip visitors from 10.30 am to 8 pm. In-house guests can also use the hotsprings early from 6 to 9 am. There is a European dry sauna as well as wet steam rooms in both make and female hotspring areas. We would love to stay here again!

the place is famous, for thailand theater shows, foods in many varieties but cant say good. when we check in we are greet by a front desk clerk,with no smile, and tired face.and since i was a foreigner but good in japanese, communication did not go so well though he is not nice explaning everything. but the foreigners workin there is so nice. the ofuro is good but can say not what we expect. in the morning we check out staff were all good and smiling.

The hotel is settled in the middle of Gero Hot Spring town, short walk from the train station and can also be reached via bus from Kamikochi area. The hotel itself is very clean and well maintained. You can feel the spirit of older times in this hotel with a lot of beautifully selected decoration pieces. The manager showed us around and even offered us a new room since I accidentally booked one without shower (we declined that offer since we only wanted to stay for one night). That’s why we used the Onsen area for showering which is beautiful and includes all amenities. View above Gero and including an outside Onsen area to watch the sunrise. The staff was very friendly, the manager even drove us to the bus station since we forgot our jackets in the bus. The bar is well-equipped and a great place for a drink or two. One of the best parts was the breakfast. Never had such a good Japanese breakfast before- delicious, served in a private room, beautifully arranged. Next time we want to try their dinner :-) We felt like family and I can recommend anyone going to Gero to stay at this great hotel! Thanks again for your hospitality!

Small size onsen hotel, have to be careful to go to onsen, they change morning and evening daily for men and ladies without clear English sign The rest is good experience, we requested to eat dinner in a special room (not in our own room)because we have 2 couples want to eat together, and they are very helpful to arrange for us

시설은 다소 오래돼보였지만 전반적으로 깔끔하게 관리하신게 보였어요. 다다미방이 널찍하니 좋았고, 프론트에 계신 모든 직원분들이 친절했어요. 내부 사우나와 외부 온천 두가지가 있었는데 시설이 작은편이지만 제가 이용할 땐 다른 이용객들이 없었어서 동생이랑 둘이 편하게 온천을 즐겼어요. 저희는 반려견은 없었지만 애견인분들을 위한 다양한 공간도 있는 것 같았습니다. 게로역까지는 도보로 12분정도 걸리는데 눈이 많이오고 캐리어도 있어서 샌딩서비스를 이용하고 싶었는데 기사분이 없다고 하셔서 이용하지 못했어요. 대신 직접 택시를 잡아주셔서 다행히 역까지 편하게 이동했습니다. 방 안에 유카타를 비롯해서 다양한 어메니티가 있었고 숙소 바로옆에 게로푸딩, 버터샌드, 여러 기념품샵 소품샵이 있었어요. 로손도 도보 5분거리에 있어서 좋았습니다. 아 근데 층간소음? 방음이 잘 안되고 윗사람들이 걸으면 방 전체가 막 울려요ㅋㅋㅠㅠ 이 점 빼고는 다 너무 좋았습니다.

낡기는 했지만 깨끗하고 방에는 샤워실이 있고 공용으로 온천으로 사용할 수 있는 욕조가 있어요. 1인용으로 시간되면 따로 온천 가지 말고 여기에서 간단하게 즐기는것도 나쁘지 않아요. 사진은 트윈인데 혼자 사용해서 침대 하나방 세팅되어있어요

はじめて宿泊しました。部屋も広く、部屋付きの露天風呂も大きくてとても良かったです！ ただ、駐車場がせまいと聞いていましてので、事前に確認の電話を入れました。旅館前に来てもらえれば誘導、案内しますので大丈夫とのこと。しかし、実際には誘導もなく、荷物も離れた駐車場から自分たちで運んでください、と言われました。こちらから、はじめに荷物預かってくださいと言わなければ、荷物預かりますとも言ってもらえませんでした。楽しみにしていたので、はじめから残念な気分になりました。
