Goldfield Holiday Units

We have stayed at Goldfields on 3 occasions We always come away well rested Units are always very clean and very comfortable Owners Marco and Sam always make you welcome We highly recommend Goldfield We will definitely return

Great little spot between the main road and the river. Our host was amazing and welcoming. Unit was spacious for 2 people, and had everything we needed for our stay.

We stayed for 4 nights in the newly renovated "boutique" apar**ent (I think the other units are a bit older) - had a wonderful stay. Really lovely apar**ent, with a well equipped kitchen, comfy bed and great shower! Amazing location right by the Ovens River with the river trail/ Canyon Walk running past. Easy to walk into the town for dinner and drinks. Sam and Marco were great hosts and really helpful. We hope to return again one day.

The property is in beautiful, quiet area and close to the town centre. The property owners are very nice and helpful people. Very clean and tidy.

Very friendly host who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. When we arrived it was a cosy welcome as heat was already turned on. Very neat and tidy accomodation and it is very close ( walking distance ) to restaurants and shops . Beautiful scenery and trails to go for walk.

I highly recommend the Goldfield Holiday Units. It’s an easy stroll into town either via the main road or the path along the ovens river as parking in town on weekends is rather difficult. We were able to enjoy dinner and a few drinks without the issue of needing to drive back to our accommodation. Sam and Marco made you feel like a part of the family and have great knowledge of the area but most importantly, where to get a great coffee in town.

If you want the perfect spot in Bright by the Ovens River, Goldfields is the place. Beautiful and picturesque all year round. We come to Bright every year and can’t wait to stay at Goldfields. Sam and Marco are the perfect hosts, beautiful friendly couple. The apar**ent is always so clean, very roomy. Separate bedroom and lounge/kitchen area. A truly beautiful escape with the properties frontage on the Ovens River. Breakfast by the river, a stroll along Canyons walk and a few minutes into town. Can’t wait for our next stay. This is a very difficult one for me to review. The place is lovely and our room had been recently renovated. The issue was that we booked a SPA unit, and as part of the renovations 12 months ago, the SPA was removed. When we arrived we questioned the owners about this, and they said that they were trying to get ******* to update their online booking and were very frustrated that it wasn't getting updated. The issue is that their own private website also listed our unit as still a SPA unit. The owners were kind enough to supply us with a free bottle of Red wine to us to apologise for our inconvenience which was nice. I have waited 4 weeks to post this review, and upon checking today, the unit is still listed on their personal website as a SPA unit. Very disappointing, because the apar**ent is lovely, but it is false advertising, and the website needs to be updated. If they can update their website, I would gladly give them a 5 star rating.

If you want a beautiful spot for rest and relaxation Goldfields is the place. Charming hosts, spotless apar**ents and on the doorstep of the Ovens River. There are only 6 apar**ents with all facilities. 2 bedrooms and a kitchenette. Number 6 apar**ent has been totally refurbished in a very modern and stylish style. It has one bedroom, a kitchenette with all facilities and a huge bathroom with a rain shower It was a joy to stay there. We would thoroughly recommend the place for couples. A short stroll along the river will take you into the gorgeous village with quality shops, 2 hotels as well as a cinema and 2 supermarkets. We came home refreshed and with a good dose of mountain air. Thanks a million to Marco and Sam. Nicole and Peter
