The Harrietville Snowline Hotel

"Beautiful large deck catering for a lot of people. We had a very large group with dogs & it suited the group. Was very hot in the sun till it went down behind the mountain, some of our group had to move tables. The food was very small serves ( whole group) and was expensive for what it was. I had the beef cheese burger & there was more chips than burger. For $27 I didn't expect to come away still hungry. Others had the steak which was $41 and also left hungry. Haven't been for 2 years but was very disappointed."

"Trzy gwiazdki nocleg z dziesięć gwiazdek doświadczenie! Od naszej pierwszej interakcji z Erin do wyjazdu, nasz pobyt był dokładnie tym, czego szukaliśmy: spokojny, nowo odnowiony apartament z studio, z pełnymi udogodnieniami kuchni, bezpośrednio na brzegu rzeki, ptaki, komfortowe łóżko, dobra jakość pościel, Ręczniki itp... i lista idzie dalej!!! Bardzo polecam pokój 10 (Platypus) na spokojny przerwę “między sezonami” . Myślę, że jest bardzo popularny i znacznie bardziej energiczny w sezonie szczytowym, ale w końcu sierpnia pogoda była łagodna i było niewielu sąsiadów!"

"This was our third stay at the Velo and just as exceptional as our previous stays. We had two rooms in the Mystic Wing which seemed to have had a recent update. The rooms were scrupulosly clean,with plenty of towels. Beds were super comforable and again super clean.Check in instructions were clear and sent well ahead of our arrival. You are but a short stroll from everything the town of Bright has to offer. Great parking. On the morning of check out we met the most delightful housekeeper who happily showed us around the newly refurbrished areas of the hotel. Attention to detail was very luxe but warm and inviting. Previously we had stayed upstairs in the main building which has been extensively renovated so we are aware as to how the Velo had previously looked. Have also stayed in a two bedroom apartment. Central to everything and pleasing to see the amazing upgrades and development of this quintessential Victoria hotel. Looking forward to our next stay!"

"Horrible service ever!We were there 2 times (because there are not many options for dinner) The food is not fresh, we had to wait at least 30 minutes for a cocktail, it was brought when the whole family had already eaten. Despite the fact that there were only 3 tables with customers. The staff is rude. When I said that I did not want to wait any longer for my drink, they said that they couldn't cancel the order, although they had not even started making it yet. Bad impression of this place"

"Excellent attention to detail in the room with stunning interiors that complement the nature of the environment. Artwork and furniture are beautifully selected. Peaceful and quiet with a spacious bathroom that makes you feel like you're in a natural springs resort. The TV moves from the lounge room with one neat swivel to the bedroom. Comfortable bed with high end linen. Luxury with a lovely kitchenette that provides everything you would require to cook most meals. The gardens are stunning, and the pool was a welcome relief from the heat. Excellent location set away from the busy shopping precinct. The hosts are exceptional, welcoming and eager to provide you with information about the local surrounds. An exceptional experience of relaxation for couples."

We enjoyed our meals on the balcony and found the accommodation super cosy with everything we needed. Close to town but so peaceful and quiet at night. We would love to return again. Nasza jednostka została niedawno odnowiona, piękny pokój kuchni/lounge, sypialnia i przestronny ensuite. Niesamowite, niespodziewanie czyste i wszystkie niezbędne rzeczy potrzebne w kuchni. Jednostki powracają do rzeki Ovens, gdzie można odpocząć czytając książkę lub cieszyć się drinkiem, podziwiając ich wspaniałe i manicurowane ogrody. Doskonała lokalizacja, kilka minut spacerem do sklepów lub spacerem wzdłuż rzeki Ovens do Canyon Walk. Sam i Marco są wspaniałymi gospodarzami i zawsze w ręku, aby pomóc w razie potrzeby. Kochaliśmy nasz pobyt i bardzo zalecamy jednostki. Dzięki Sam i Marco."
