Westwood Lodge

Very comfortable apartments that is spacious enough for 5 days or so. Apartment 3 was well furnished and close to the clock-tower and main street. Nice and quiet with a small stream beside the property. So many King Parrots and Gang Gangs. The only down side is that Bright is suffering from a lack of quality eating places at the moment. The Alpine Hotel now rates as very poor except for their Thai Restaurant upstairs. The Brewery menu is VERY limited and pretty poor. The Sol e Luna was a vright light in amongst the dross of oriental take aways and vaping joints. I believe Sir Loins is pretty good but only opens on limited days and we were out of luck for a table. Hopefullythis is just a temporary trough in the usually good Bright hospitality scene Gapstead Winery still offers exceptionally good lunches on a north facing flowery patio facing the Buffalo ranges and foothils. Do not miss it.

The Westwood Lodge was wonderful. We had 3 days in the 2 bedroom apartment. It is an easy walk into the centre of Bright and all the village has to offer. The apartment was cosy, clean and catered to all our requirements. The outside amenities also allowed us to enjoy the sunshine over a glass of wine. We will certainly book when visiting Bright in the future.

This accommodation is just off the main street, walking distance but so private. The gardens are beautiful and the apartment was beautifully styled, very well-presented and very clean. The owners were very responsive with communication.

We have just had a wonderful 3 night stay in Westwood apartment 3. The location is fantastic; we walked or rode everywhere. We loved the huge, comfy bed with gorgeous linen. The apartment had everything we needed. Great communication with the owner. It is a little bit expensive, but fairly well priced given the popularity of this tourist town at this time of year. The bike trails in Bright are fun; especially the one to Porepunkah & Ringer Reef winery. 5 Acres in Wandi is another great ride & such a beautiful place to spend a lazy afternoon. Plenty of places to eat in town; our favorite was Tomahawk, the ribs are delicious. We’ll be back again!

Westwood lodge is in a Perfect location, the unit was spotless and so comfortable. Everything we needed was available. The king size bed was to die for. Was great to be able to utilise the creek and the outdoor setting . Leah is the perfect host.

We love the quiet tranquil location nestled next to the creek among beautiful flora & fauna. The accommodation is beautifully decorated and comfortable. The quietness all along but especially at night ensures relaxation & great sleep. Service is great, nothing seems to be a problem & the owner makes you feel very welcome. We can’t wait for our next visit.

For many years now we have always enjoyed staying at Westwood Lodge. The high quality, quietness and the excellent location of the apartments are perfect to enjoy your holiday in beautiful Bright. The apartments surround a beautiful garden and creek.

Absolutely fabulous place to stay. Great areas outside for a bbq, or sit by the bubbling stream with a wine or beer. It's a 2-minute walk to shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs, but at the same time extremely peaceful. The rooms have everything needed for a relaxing stay. It's one of the best apartments that we've ever stayed in.

We loved our stay at the one bedroom apartment! The street is beautiful; full of really big, old trees. The driveway was wide with plenty of parking and the grounds were nice - with a gazebo to sit in. A table and chair as well as a bbq are provided. We stayed in apartments 3 - a one bedroom apartment. It was very spacious, but had a small kitchenette with only a small fridge and a portable cooktop. The bedroom did not have a lot of wardrobe space. Aparently the 2 bedroom apartments have a full size kitchen and larger wardrobes, but a smaller lounge-room. so I suppose it depends on what you need. All apartments are truly wonderfully decorated - and we felt right at home!! The covered patio out the back was a nice extra and we did make use of the comfy daybed. The beds in the bedroom was very comfortable too, with very nice linen. The bathroom was clean, modern and spacious. Since we were there in autumn, it was very good to have a heater that worked well. The location could not be better with only a couple of minutes walk to the town centre. We would definitely recommend a stay at the Westwood Lodge apartments The photos will say it all.....
