Hampton Inn by Hilton Calgary Airport North

Very convenient for the airport as we had a long stopover in Calgary. The room was clean and beds very comfortable. The breakfast was basic, but perfectly adequate. Free shuttle to and from the airport was a godsend. Reception staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough, restaurant staff a little grumpy!!

This hotel was really great! The people who work there are absolutely incredible. Not a single bad experience and wish all the best for them in the future! This was my first time in Calgary and wish I had done a little more research into the city and being there before booking this hotel, though. The location is fantastic if you’re looking for something close to the airport, but other than that, it is very isolated from the rest of the city and unless you have a car, you’ll be pretty far from downtown and the Uber can be upwards of $35 one way. So if you’re in Calgary for a trip to Banff or other places you’ll have a car for, the location is not a huge deal because you’re only about 20 minutes away from downtown and the hotel is right beside the highway which is very convenient. However, if you are not expecting to have a car and plan on going downtown often, I would recommend finding a hotel in downtown instead. If location is not a big deal though, I highly recommend this hotel! The breakfast, from 6 am to 10 am, is really delicious- fresh waffles, eggs, potatoes, sausages and so much more! The pool was pretty clean and at least when we went, not very busy. In general I felt very safe there since the main entrance allows you to pass the front desk directly where someone is always there to greet you and see how they can help. Overall, this hotel gets 5/5 stars! My own lack of research led me to not being aware of how far the hotel was from downtown, which is no fault of the hotel themselves. It was a great stay and reasonably priced!

Front desk was not that accommodating. Room lacked lights. Breakfast buffet options were just okay. Room was spacious and clean, as well as the bathroom.

Hampton Inn by Hilton Calgary Airport North was a very comfortable stay for us. The free breakfast in the morning was great, we really enjoyed the warm breakfast. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and inviting, and the hotel shuttle service was very easy to use. The hotel was a short distance from the airport, and we would stay there again.

This hotel is a favourite for us. Location is North side of the airport, a little tricky to get into. One of those places you can easily see but how do I get there. Other than a restaurant on site, and a Tim Hortons close by, there are no eating establishments within easy walking distance. Check in is efficient, rooms are large and clean. Shuttle service is provided to the airport. Breakfast is available and with a very decent selection. The hotel itself is modern and very well kept.

This is a good solid airport hotel. No surprises. Good nights sleep up at 4:30 for early flight.

We both said we’d definitely stay here again. It was simple, yet elegant. Incredibly kind staff.

Really nice place to stay while arriving at Calgary airport and waiting to transfer to Banff. They have free shuttles between the hotel and the airport (phone or reserve at the front desk). Also, the breakfast is really nice. Definitely recommend!

It was a great short stay before we fly to Toronto to catch our early flight. Great place to stay
