"This hotel exceeded our expectations! The room was huge, ultra modern and pristine - overlooking the sea and the historic citadel. The staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much and every thing done with a smile! Most staff had excellent English - otherwise we had fun with our limited French and animated charades with the delightful team! The Reception team - Aurielien, Elisa and Julian helped us so much when we missed a connection (so patient and kind!), ran around after our every whim and made us laugh when we couldn’t work stuff out, booked cabs, changed bookings, improved our plans with their local knowledge! Catering and Bar team - Hayet, Valérie and Frédérique provided a sunny, happy welcome every morning and throughout the day!!"

"The room is right but if you don't take the option view sea, avoid the one-stop view (view on wall!). The staff were welcome, breakfast buffet with very good charcuterie."

"Oh dear! We went for dinner. Boiling hot on arrival no air conditioning in main reception, all looks rather dated. Canapés were delicious, starter was OK, lettuce was a bit limp? My main course lamb has been heated up on the grill and was stone cold in the middle, no herbs as promised to be seen! I asked for a G&T with no ice, delivered twice with ice??? My husband never got his main course, the manager kept promising it would arrive, 30 minutes after we had finished our main course it still hadn’t arrived. We then left as the mosquitos were horrific and could barely breathe with all the anti-mosquito coils being burned. Avoid this over priced hell hole at all cost, go round the corner to any beach bar and you’ll have a better experience! The view is lovely though but otherwise avoid."

"Pool access varies depending on location; it's not always easy. The elevator needs servicing! Private parking spaces are available, but you have to request them! The room was very nice, and the breakfast was absolutely fantastic! The welcome was perfect; I highly recommend it!"

"Excellent location. The host was very attentive. Dogs are welcome. Completely peaceful. The heated pool was very pleasant. The summer kitchen with barbecue was extremely convenient."

"We stayed for four nights as a couple. The hotel has many positive points. A fantastic location, just a 5-minute walk from the center. A beautiful view. A small beach nearby. The sunset every evening. The staff very pleasant. The breakfast was decent. There wasn't a huge selection, but the products were fresh and tasty. At €10, it's worth it. The only slight drawback was the room. It was a bit dated, and the pillows weren't great. However, it was very clean every day! Good value for money. If we return to Calvi, we will definitely stay here again. Thank you!"

"Near centre, so some noise at night. Room clean and tidy, but a pinch small - we had to wait to walk around the bed. Small balcony, but not sea view. Good bathroom / shower / wet room. Toilet weirdly up a sort of corridor. Breakfast ok, fresh with some choice. A nice perched pool on the first floor - one admires the engineering. No dinner. My wife left her glasses behind, and they were kind enough to post them back to the UK WELL DONE and THANKS"

"Very well located and a great hostess! The studio was satisfactory. However, there were four garden chairs in the small studio, which took up a large portion of the space, requiring the bed to be lowered. Access to the terrace is blocked because the window is obstructed by the furniture. The cleaning could also be improved, but it's fine for a few nights."
