Currently staying here with my partner on a 14 night Jet2 package. This is not a holiday hotel but one centred around large groups. Last week was a large group of single male golfers who took over the restaurant and bar areas making it impossible to enjoy a relaxing dinner or breakfast. On complaining we did receive an apology from the manager and a free bottle of Cava. We arrived for dinner tonight after a busy day, looking forward to a relaxing meal. This was sadly not the case, as there was a group of around 70 -80 people (apparently a bridge event happening this week) all seated together. The noise was unbearable, akin to an hectic service station, other guests found it difficult to get near to the buffet areas, and were leaving without finishing dinner. Staff were already pushing more tables together around us and laying out wine etc for more arrivals, we felt like we were in the way. When on holiday we feel the evening meal should be an enjoyable experience and not just a meal. Never before have we felt so inconvenient. We can understand the hotel wanting to cater for these groups as they obviously bring in a lot of revenue in rooms and drinks, but I don't believe Jet 2 should be selling this as a holiday hotel. We have been loyal Jet2 customers for a great number of years but seriously doubt we will use them again ,

Just returned from a very enjoyable weekend break at Sol Port Cambrils. A very pleasant stay, well maintained and clean hotel with very friendly, helpful staff.The room was very clean and the bed extremely comfortable. Great choices at breakfast time , well organised restaurant area with polite and friendly staff. The lift was very small , and I imagine in high season the wait would be very long to get upstairs. The seating arrangements in the entertainment area could be better organised with the .We really enjoyed and hope to return

Booked sea view suite. Sea view was a glimpse between two tennaments was so bad I asked for a refund and checked out.

Can’t fault this hotel. Great location (just a stroll from the beach), spacious rooms, all with a balcony (and a gap between each balcony so you don’t feel on top of your neighbours), comfy beds and nice bathroom with walk in shower, A/C (make sure you close your window so the Air Con starts working!). Super welcoming and friendly staff (special mention to Fiorely at the reception!), nice pool area and fitness centre. First time in Cambrils, and will definitely come back: it is quiet and tourists are for sure in the older side, but if you want to relax and not have kids everywhere, this is the place to be! Plenty of choice in terms of bars and restaurants, follow the Spaniards for the good places to eat! Also mentioned in many comments: there is a big Aldi next door (cross the mini bridge) so you can get drinks and snacks for cheap ;) Port Sol, we will be back!

Great hotel, friendly staff- thank you for our anniversary surprise 😊🥂 Good choice for breakfast ,Rooms spacious & comfortable beds We had pool view Pool opens at 11 - think due to no sun on it till then ? Time of year but plenty of sun beds & pool bar staff friendly Located near beach & marina Area very traditional Spanish Easy access on buses to other arrives & had a day out to Barcelona which was easy to navigate

Smashing hotel in Cambrils. Away from the action but literally minutes on foot away. Most staff pleasant . Room has excellent air con if a little noisy and superb Wi-Fi. Comfortable beds and pillows and lovely shower and bathroom. We had a first floor overlooking pool area. Rooms maybe could do with kick of paint but a small complaint. Pool is fantastic and refreshing with ample room and pool bar for refreshments. Restaurant area for breakfast was busy with plenty of food. Bar was nice sitting outside on balmy evenings. We had a lovely time and would certainly return .

Disappointing stay at Sol Port Cambrils. We often stay at Melia hotels and this didn’t match the standards of the brand. We had a 1st floor room, directly above reception and the bar. Very noisy, especially when any entertainment was on, as if they were in the room. Our ‘partial sea view’ really stretched the definition of partial, if you really focus through the trees you can see some blue (see photo). We associate Melia hotels with a good breakfast, this was poor. Very limited choice and cheap ingredients. Not good. On a positive the hotel is well located, a few mins walk from the beach. Stay for the location, but don’t spend time in the hotel.

Visited last week solo travel got requested high floor quiet room , I am 70 years old . The hotel small cosy comfortable rooms huge beds lovely a bit dated furniture but it sufficed , kettle in room lots sockets , comfy armchair too small but adequate balcony with table snd chairs , two lifts , four floors , dining is basement with outdoor tables too , good food something for everyone , breakfast 7.30 dinner at 8 pm , lovely choices , staff polite I went half board , pool small no toilets out there ( one bug bear ) pool does not open until 11 am never been known ( 2nd bug bear ) pool bar opens 12 water is 2 euros a tin see my photos , woukd I return yes , beautiful beach 10 minute walk turn left leaving hotel , Aldi turn right go under bridge ( train line is desolate no tracks !!! Entertainment the norm singers etc One set of toilets in basement just didn’t suit me , snacks in inside bar where there are comfy sofas big tv etc all in all I saw more Spanish guests but was treated equally , lots of kids well behaved , it’s a big 4.99 from me I may return , well done sol port , sort pool toilets , reusable green water facility snd it would be a 5 x x Thankyou
