"After driving up from the south of Spain (nerja) on our way to Santander, we booked this B&B for a stopover. We wasn’t disappointed. On arrival there was a telephone number that we rang and within 5 minutes the lady arrived to check us in. The room was clean, spacious and had a very comfortable bed.The shower was really good . A quaint little town with enough facilities. Morning breakfast was simple but very enjoyable. The lady that runs this place was more than friendly. Very attentive especially at breakfast. Thanks"

"A regrettable experience is an understatement… you could call it “this hotel is a ruin” (like the Tom Hanks movie). Apart from the attention at the reception desk, the rest of the staff was a nonsense. I chose this hotel because of its proximity to Alto Campoo and because the Cantabrian government had changed management and it was worse than expected. The location of the hostel (I don’t think it’s a hotel) does not compensate for the proximity to the station. When you opened the tap in the sink you heard a noise like a hammer so we couldn’t use the sink that day. I say that night because we had booked the weekend and we left the next morning as it was dangerous to leave the hotel at night due to the weather. So I spent the night with my wife and a 7 year old girl without a sink. The mattresses were a nonsense, not only because of the noise but because they must be 40 years old, not to mention the pillows that can break your neck. Conclusion: we left the hotel and they told me that I would be reimbursed the full amount. Yesterday I received a message from booking that they were giving me a 30% discount on the first night and they still haven't credited me for the night they were going to pay for... In short, choose any hotel even if it takes 15 minutes to get to Alto Campoo before this one."
