"This was an awful experience and, in my opinion, completely unacceptable customer service. We booked this hotel, and our reservation was supposed to cost €600 for two nights. Unfortunately, three days before our arrival, we were forced to cancel our trip due to circumstances beyond our control. We contacted the hotel manager in advance, informed them that we would not be able to come, and asked if there was any possible solution regarding the amount we had already paid for the non-refundable booking. We fully understood that the cancellation was our responsibility and that we were not automatically entitled to a refund. Over a long exchange with the manager, we proposed several reasonable alternatives. We asked whether the booking could be moved to different dates, as we were willing to stay at the hotel a month later. We suggested keeping the full payment and simply rescheduling our reservation. We also offered other compromises, including receiving only 50% of the booking value as hotel credit or vouchers that could be used exclusively at this property. Every single proposal was rejected. Instead, the manager repeatedly hid behind internal policies and procedures, and in the end the entire amount we had paid was simply forfeited. In my view, this is a very poor way to treat customers. Ironically, the hotel ended up losing more than we did. Had they agreed to move the reservation, we would have happily stayed there on the new dates and spent additional money at the property. Instead, they chose a short-sighted approach that left us with no flexibility whatsoever. As a result, the money was lost, and so was any trust we had in this hotel. I strongly believe that this attitude toward customers reflects the overall level of service you can expect from the property. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It was a genuinely disappointing experience. Fortunately, there are plenty of other hotels in the area. Do yourself a favor and choose one of them instead. Don't make the same mistake we did—avoid this hotel."

"We stayed at Villa Rosella in Alba di Canazei and I couldn't have made a better choice. The location is simply perfect: surrounded by greenery, with a spectacular view of the Dolomites, literally steps from the Alba–Col dei Rossi and Alba–Ciampac ski lifts, and a 5-minute drive from Canazei (but you can also easily reach it on foot). The property is welcoming and well-kept. Our room was small but had a nice bathroom and a balcony with a stunning view of Mount Colac. The room was cleaned daily. Another strong point was the food. We had half board, so we always ate dinner at the property. Breakfast is plentiful, varied (sweet and savory), and superb, especially the homemade desserts. For dinner, we were allowed to choose from the menu the day before (vegetable buffet, soup, choice of first and second course, and dessert). Everything was super plentiful and incredibly delicious (we still dream of the strudel). But the real strength of this property is the family who runs it and all the staff who accompany them. I highly recommend Villa Rosella to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience in Val di Fassa."

"My wife and I stayed at this friendly family-run hotel from 28.2 to 7.3.-26. Everything worked fantastically for them! The room was clean and newly renovated. The staff was very friendly and flexible. They did everything they could to accommodate our needs. Their own minibus took us free of charge every day to the center of Canazei, where there was a ski lift ticket sales and ski rental shop. The hotel's breakfast and dinner were perfect! We will never forget the service and quality of this hotel! We have traveled a lot for both work and leisure and rarely get this level of all-inclusive service that the Hotel Azola offers!!!"

"Went with Nelson Holidays. Great food, Any help wanted Emilly(Nielson rep) and staff at hotel where on hand. Got lost as ski map not that great but Emilly got a taxi for me (was v. expensive though). Had funny rule that you could have tea in the morning and cake/homemade biscuits and tea from 4.30-5.30 free but other times had to pay- in UK have kettle in your room with teabags anyway. Said tap water OK but tasted funny to me so got bottles. Lovely sauna and Jacuzzi. Swimming pool 10min free ski bus away and pretty walks nearby. Wonderful view from room of mountains. Could have been a board game/cards night though and they could of organised restaurant for everyone when chef had day off. Have to take bus and two gondolas to meet ski instructers so got lost first day as signage not great. Got given beginner skis when opted for package when said was intermediate. "

"I don't know where to start... carpet in the corridors all stained and even broken at the entrance to the room... carpet in the room with a strong smell of damp... very small bathroom, broken tiles, leaky sink... balcony in the room never cleaned in 3 days... in the room there is not even a small fridge or a kettle... in short I strongly advise against it. I have been coming to Canazei for many years but I have never found a hotel so poorly maintained. The organic waste bins were outside in front of the sign for 3 days. Breakfast was acceptable although let's draw a veil of pity over the waiters... no one who greeted you in the morning and they cleaned the placemats from the tables throwing crumbs on the floor (among other things, another carpet that I never saw cleaned in a week). Non-existent bar, you could not even have a bottle of water in the evening. And even if you brought it from outside there is no fridge. Too bad because it is in a strategic position in Canazei."

"Wonderful hospitality with very helpful and experienced staff! Perfect location for a relaxing break with top spa. As a family, we enjoyed the interconnecting rooms and the pool. The food for breakfast was high standard and the hotel restaurant has a wonderful menu with a great chef. There is a fantastic bar with super selection of cocktails courtesy of Silvio, an accomplished bar tender. We have stayed here three times and enjoy it every time! Staff are amazing and the owners are present and welcoming. Congratulations to the team once again on their top hospitality!"
