What we liked about the property is the very good food and customer service from the various restaurants at this resort and how the housekeeping did a good job with keeping the rooms and amenities clean despite the age, theme, and structure of the buildings. What we didn't like about the resort is the poor customer service coming from the receptionists and the stinky smell of the sewer back-up coming from the bathroom toilet in the bedrooms and the spa and at different areas of the resort. The receptionists were not welcoming, not friendly, not accommodating, and not hospitable. Upon our arrival, all they cared about was us providing our passports and credit card which took them a long time to photocopy and process. They didn't even bother to ask how we are feeling and doing. Neither did they offer us any welcome drinks. We reminded them that we have a silver status membership with ******* and that we should have a VIP reception but was totally ignored. We requested to have adjoining rooms due to having minor-aged children but our request was denied. We requested to not charge us for the first unused night due to the flight cancellation and trip interruption we experienced that was not within our control, again our request was denied. We complained about a stinky, foul-smelling bedroom but was only granted a change on the third day of our supposed to be 9 nights of stay. Same goes to the receptionists of their spa- lacks warm hospitality and customer service. So Sad
