This is a clean and bright hostel. The beds are comfortable and the wifi is fast. The staff are adorable young people who all speak fantastic english and in one case dutch! very helpful supervisor who resolved my issue when i'd booked another night but on the wrong date. she swapped the date for me at no extra cost. so i stayed yet another night in return! there are good facilities, a small gym and a nice chill out room with widescreen tv and PlayStation. think beanbags and A/C - heaven! You are close to a load of street food vendors in the side alley otherwise it's a ten minute walk round the block to plenty of restaurants. a good place to start your stay in jakarta if you arrive at gambir. btw also close to national gallery (which is excellent) and the national museum - also great!!

It's an absolute beautiful place. I booked it in a hurry before traveling to Indonesia on the bus, and I had no idea how even it look like, however it was a surprise, super futuristic, everything is controlled within the app, I booked for another day and simply chat the hotel through their live chat and boom my booking has been confirmed and the electricity came back to my cabin. All in all, I highly recommend it, i think choosing any other place is a sin.

Its a pod. Ideal for solo. There are many workers when I arrived cleaning (quietly, discreetly and professionally), cleaning the toilets, showers, pods etc.... So the its super clean and fresh. I also had to get to Gambir Station to catcg a train. Tried hailling a transport from the roadside was quoted a higher tourist price. Got back to Bobobox, received help from Denny and Joe, who so kindly help called and arranged a transport for me at a fair price at peak hour 5:30pm. Joe, the Bobobox staff even accompanied me down to the street and waited for the transport to arrive and instructed the driver my destination and that I am going to take a train and needs to arrived at a specified time. A lot of transportation options nearby. The check in was smooth. The dorm room was spacious and clean. Wifi was somewhat weak in room but better at the communal area. I liked the cozy communal area near reception, but it was full of mosquitos at night.

The first thing I like is the strategic location. Once close to the Trans Jakarta stesen. But unfortunately there is no name plate in front of the hostel, so I was confused looking where it is. The capsule bed is nice, everyone is given a locker to store things. The cleanliness is stable and the common room area is also good. Hopefully the toilet between the women and the men in the future can be separated. Overall, I recommend staying here for budget travelers.
