Frida Apartments

Just back from 10 days at Frida Apar**ents in Chania Crete. First of all thank you to Frida and her wonderful staff for making our stay so enjoyable. We had breakfast in the on-site restaurant every morning with views of the sea. Fresh fruit and a selection of cheese,meat, cereal and Cretan food was available every morning. There are two swimming pools one just below the dining area and the other further down some steps. The rooms were cleaned to a high standard every day by the very friendly staff who were always in great form. The fabulous beach is about a 10 minute walk and Chania is about a 20 minute walk or a €7 taxi. We ate at the on-site restaurant on a couples of evenings sipping cocktails in the happy hour before dinner. Again thanks to all at Frida for looking after us so well. We will return.

Where to start with this perfect hotel. The staff are absolutely amazing! From Anna with her delicious cocktails, to Frida and her amazing recommendations. Nothing was to much to ask. We had the most amazing time from their fabulous pool to their delicious food at breakfast and lunch/ dinner. The pool was always quiet enough which was exactly what we wanted! Our room was perfect, great size with aircon, wifi and even Netflix to sign into! Everyone made us feel right at home. They are nice and close to the beach and about a 35 min walk to the old harbour. We opted for taxis each night which were only €8 and reception always had them ordered straight away for us. Everything was perfect and we would highly recommend this hotel to any couple who would like a quiet oasis away from the crowds at the harbour so you can have the best of both worlds! Deffinately a secret gem that we hope to return to. Thank you to all the staff for creating such a beautiful holiday for us xx

What a lovely friendly place. A great view, 2 fab pools (a bit cold tho), 5 mins walk to a Sandy beach, super breakfast especially the sour cherry jam & watermelon jam, lovely well equipped rooms & a daily service We are in the restaurant one night & it was scrummy 😋 I felt spoilt, safe & very comfortable I couldn't recommend it enough

Hotel is very clean and nice rooms. Kitchen was little small but that can vary from room to room. Excellent bathroom and nice balcony. Service was really good and pool areas excellent. It’s like it’s own isolated small cute village. One thing is why I won’t come back, they have Gold fish in very dirty pool outside. Kids tease them, it’s really animal cruelty so I hope they will get ride of the fish. We also did not see anyone feeding them. I hope hotel makes good choice and let them run free or put them in a sleep.

Frida Apar**ents is such a fantastic place to stay. Our room was comfortable, spacious, and had everything we needed. Both swimming pools are wonderful, great sizes and always clean. The bar is brilliant, the restaurant is absolutely great with delicious food, and the location is very handy for Chania (just an €8 taxi ride to the centre) and a nice local beach. The staff are absolutely wonderful, and cannot do enough to help, super friendly and lovely. We will definitely be back, this really was the perfect place to stay :) Iza, Martyn and Izzy x

Frida Apar**ents was an excellent location for our holiday in Crete Island. Great accommodation services, the apar**ents are clean and very practical. We really enjoyed great sea views and sunrises from Frida Apar**ents, the 2 pools area is very nice. We also loved that is not a crowded place specially now during pandemic period. Breakfast and dinners are very tasty, we have enjoyed delicious Cretan meals. An important thing no know is that food is not served in a buffet style so you don’t many choices. The staff is helpful and friendly, definitely a great plus from a client’s perspective. Staff from the reception, also Gabi and Crisy are doing everything to please every client. The location is great, close to Chania center. If you rent a car or use the public transport you can visit amazing places in Crete. For beach we recommend Agia Marina beach which is at 15 minutes distance by car/bus. We were very happy to choose Frida Apar**ents! Regards to all Frida’s staff!

We have been waiting for the opportunity to travel to Chania and return to Frida our favorite place to stay. The family gave us a warm welcome back and checked us in to our regular rooms. Enjoyed a glass of vine in the bar before dinner. The breakfast was served a la carte due to preventive infection control. It worked very well, and we had freshly made from the kitchen a tasty omelet and bacon and eggs. The yoghurt with mother Maria's fantastic homemade orange marmelade was even better than I could remember. We were sunbathing by the pool and had a good lunch brake with delicious souvlaki and beef burger with greek salad and tzatsiki. Very relaxing stay with Frida and the family and their very accommodating team members. We really appreciated the marmelade gift to bring back home. Thank you all, we will return.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo residence per 4 giorni nel mese di settembre e ce ne siamo innamorati. Una vista mozzafiato,il tutto contornato da due bellissime piscine. Personale simpatico e cordiale; una menzione particolare va alla bella Anna,la ragazza del bar, con cui ho scambiato diverse chiacchierate serali tra un buon calice di vino e un bicchierino di raki. Posto consigliatissimo. Ci ritorneremo ❤️

Siamo stati 3 giorni in questo hotel a chania. L'hotel si presenta come un residence su più piani, a noi è stata riservata una camera famigliare sl piano terra, comoda per i bambini e le valigie. L'hotel è in una stradina poco lontano dal centro, con un parcheggio per gli ospiti. Dall'hotel è possibile raggiungere il centro e il.l porto con una passeggiata di cerca mezz'ora passando vicino la spiaggia. La stanza pulita con una piccola cucina, tv un po piccola e bagno normale ma con tendenza a bagnare il pavimento con la doccia, forse il difetto principale. La colazione è anche il ristorante sono abbastanza buoni, con i tavoli che offrono una bella vista sopraelevata. Una dei punti forti sono sicuramente le piscine, veramente belle. Considerato il rapporto qualità prezzo, lo consiglio sicuramente.
