"Was really looking forward to my stay, but left completely disappointed. The room air quality was already bad, and the housekeeper's poor attitude made the experience even worse! The facilities are old, and the air conditioning had a strange smell that gave me a headache. When I told the housekeeper, she just told me to check out if I wasn't happy. I drove all the way here, I was supposed to be resting at the hotel, how could I have the energy to deal with finding another one? I had no choice but to stay! But the bedding was unhygienic, which caused my child and me to have severe allergic reactions! I ended up buying disposable bedding and allergy medicine myself! This was truly a suffer-cation."

Everything was perfect, from the concierge calling me before arrival, adding me on WeChat, the warm welcome, the reception, check-in, room upgrade, communication, the lounge experience, and the beautiful night views – even the weather was great! However, I started feeling uneasy when the concierge tried to upsell me on a yacht trip after adding me on WeChat. Now, it's been five days since I checked out, and they've been calling and messaging me daily to ask for a positive review. I had originally planned to leave one the next day, but I got busy and thought I'd do it a few days later. Instead, I've been harassed for days, which is honestly ridiculous. It turned what would have been a perfect five-star service into a stressful experience, almost like a KPI I had to help them achieve. Overall, the feeling was very comfortable, and I still highly recommend it for the experience and stay. The hotel's location is also very convenient, apart from being harassed if you don't complete their KPI in time."

"Overall, this was a good stay with some truly special aspects, but also a few areas that could be improved. The hotel is quite remote, which makes it feel very private and peaceful, surrounded by nature such as the lake, forest, and mountains. Even though we visited other viewpoints around Qiandao Lake, this location felt more special because of its quiet and secluded setting. The hotel itself feels like a destination, with scenic viewpoints, a garden with a lake, a cave, and even trekking trails to explore. The garden area includes a swan lake, which is a nice idea. However, the swans are kept in a very small netted space. It does not look great visually and feels restrictive for the animals, which took away from the experience. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a very comfortable bed that was not too soft or too hard. Sound insulation was excellent, which made for great sleep. I also requested a firmer pillow, and it was provided quickly. The lake view room upgrade was a highlight. The view was stunning and made it hard to leave the room. If you stay here, I would strongly recommend booking a lake view room. The layout was nice, with both a balcony and a window view. The thick frame dividing the view slightly affected the overall feel, but it was not a major issue. The bathtub was also a nice addition. Cleaning was good overall. The AC did not work very well during the hot midday hours, although it was fine at other times of the day. Facilities such as the gym, yoga room, pool, and game room were nice additions. However, they felt quite standard for a five-star hotel, and I have experienced better quality in similar properties. One great feature was the free Tesla charging, but this was not communicated at all. We only discovered it by chance, which is a missed opportunity as it is a strong benefit. Breakfast was acceptable but not at the expected level. The coffee and bakery were the weakest parts. Ordering is done via QR code instead of in person, which felt a bit impersonal for a luxury hotel atmosphere. Service during breakfast also felt a bit off, as staff seemed focused on their tasks and were not very proactive in guiding or prioritizing guests, which made the experience feel less warm and not the kindest. Service was generally kind and friendly, but inconsistent at times. Some staff could benefit from additional training, as not everyone followed typical five-star service standards such as greeting guests or offering priority. Another disappointment was the welcome fruit, which was included in our package but not provided on arrival. After we asked, a staff member came carrying items for multiple rooms in a bag and handed us just one apple and one peach. This felt unprofessional although something very small. Another point worth noting is that the hotel was originally booked as an InterContinental, but about 1-2 weeks before arrival it was no longer part of the brand (somehow on Trip.com it still says intercontinental). Not sure if this impacted the experience, but overall it did feel slightly below what you might expect from that level, even though the stay itself was still enjoyable. The hotel also offers free Tesla charging, which is a great feature. However, this was not communicated at all during or before our stay, and we only discovered it by chance. This feels like a missed opportunity, as it is a strong benefit that could add significant value for guests I did not try lunch or dinner, so I cannot comment on those. Overall, this is a very peaceful and unique stay with amazing natural surroundings and a beautiful lake view. However, some service and operational details need improvement to truly match a luxury standard."

For the same price, this hotel offers excellent value, plus it's in the city center, making transportation and food delivery very convenient. "The location of Building 3 is excellent. We stayed in a 3-bedroom suite with an unobstructed, super beautiful lake view. The only downside was that we arrived late, so the upper floors were fully booked, and our room was on a lower floor. Everything else was great, though. The lakeside breakfast in Building 1 was also beautiful, and our butler, Xiao Qian, was very thoughtful, even giving us a small gift and cycling vouchers. We're very satisfied! 👍"

"Service: After booking, a concierge contacted me. I booked a two-night lake view room, and they upgraded me to a central lake view room. They also extended my checkout time by an hour and a half, which was great. The front desk staff and room service delivery were polite. However, the lobby concierge didn't help with luggage, so there was no bellhop service. Environment: The hotel location is quite convenient, with restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The lake view is good and the scenery is open, but there are many mosquitoes. Facilities: The room equipment is quite old; the hairdryer feels like it should be retired. There are no smart devices in the room, and I had to go to the lobby to pick up food deliveries myself. The room lighting is a bit dim. The shower door doesn't close tightly, the bathtub doesn't drain, and the toilet splashes when flushed. The sofa looked quite dirty. The bedding was of normal quality, but some sheets and duvet covers had varying degrees of damage. However, the overall layout, space, and lighting were still comfortable. Hygiene: This is the main point, a huge red flag. On the first night, as I was getting ready for bed, I found mosquito carcasses on the pillow. When I flipped open the covers, there were even more on the sheets, and upon closer inspection, some on the duvet cover as well. It was 2 AM, so I just used tissue to remove them and made do. The next morning, I woke up to find live flying insects crawling on the duvet cover. Considering the hotel is by the lake with lots of greenery, I figured they might have flown in when the balcony door was open during the day, so I didn't bother to report it. I kept the balcony door tightly closed for the rest of the day. On the second night, after showering and using the towel, when I threw it into the laundry basket, I saw very large and numerous brown-yellow stains on it, some of which were dry and hard. I don't even know what they were, and I instantly felt disgusted; I was truly on the verge of a breakdown. At that moment, I didn't even think about feedback or complaints; I just wanted to re-shower quickly. Later, considering it was too late and I had a lot of work the next day, I informed the concierge after checking out. They didn't try to shirk responsibility, apologized, and said they would follow up on the issues and offer a room upgrade for my next stay. Hmm, while the attitude was there, I reserve judgment on their proposed solutions and corrective measures. Overall, it's a very old-fashioned five-star hotel; it has everything you'd expect, but also quite a few flaws. Aside from the central lake view, which is worth seeing, the other services and attitude were mediocre. The room equipment was quite outdated but usable. I didn't visit the public areas, so I can't comment, and the breakfast had variety but lacked outstanding flavor. However, the hygiene aspect was truly appalling, a massive red flag."

Pomimo nieco datowane uczucie w miejscach jest duża uwaga na szczegóły i czystość. Zarezerwowaliśmy dwa podstawowe pokoje dwuosobowe, ale fantastyczny zespół front desk cicho uaktualnił nas do apartamentów na noc. Taka przyjemna niespodzianka, aby iść z naszymi powitanymi prezentami. Więc niepotrzebnie powiedzieć, że nasze pokoje były przestronne i bardzo wygodne z normalnym dobrym standardem udogodnienia oczekiwać z Hilton. Śniadanie oferowało dobry wybór żywności i piękny widok na jezioro. basen wewnętrzny wydawał się bardzo dobry rozmiar i siłownia dość dobrze zaopatrzone. Na koniec, nasze podziękowania Mia (i w istocie całego zespołu) za dobroć pozwalając na późne wyjazdy bez żadnych zakłóceń i za ich ogólną ciepło i dobroć. Spróbujemy znaleźć naszą drogę do powrotem mniej przypadkowo w przyszłości."
