We stayed here for three nights in Mid September and our stay was wonderful. We opted to book a suite and we were so glad we did. Room 10 was spacious and filled with light. It’s also the only room in the whole hotel that has a balcony that can fit chairs and overlooks the sea. Gorgeous! We are at the restaurant the first night here and it was fantastic. The best octopus we have had in Spain this trip. The hotel is close enough to walk to town, but also tucked away enough to feel out of the chaos. Would totally recommend this place for a romantic stay.
Stayed 3 nights in total at this property to be close to family nearby. Our room was large, bed was comfortable. I liked all the ameneties provided in the restroom such as shaving kits, dental kits, etc. This was a nice touch as we had been traveling for a while so they were useful. We had a balcony with a great sea view. The breakfast was really good with a lot of options. Staff was friendly. Several restaurants within walking distance.

We went here for a big family wedding and we had a wonderful time we all got together ate drank and danced the food was ok the drink great but gradually we noticed one waitress who was rude and abrupt . She was a middle aged lady with long dark hair and she was intolerable. Also there was a younger waitress with glasses long dark hair and young who was always smiling and helpful who was great we loved her . The other waiters were ok friendly and nice in spite of a challenging environment with 200 guests . This place needs a little investment just to send it to the next level some of the old timbers outside are rotten and need replacing .
Hotel in good location; restaurants and small market close walking distance - cost about 40eu for taxi to airport. Hotel staff all were friendly and helpful. Room was very warm when checked in, but cooled down for good sleeping at night.
The hotel is located in the surrounding area of Bilbao City. Close to the World Heritage Biss Bridge, 5 minutes walk. Be sure to spend 0.45 euro to experience the unique bridge crossing of the Biss Bridge. The castle-style hotel is luxuriously decorated, the rooms are comfortable and bright, and the bathroom is beautiful. The hotel has an underground parking lot and free parking around. The surrounding area is obviously a tourist attraction area with churches and old streets.
The river view room is stunning. It is wonderful to be able to enjoy from near the beautiful Vizcaya Bridge and the beautiful estuary in which you can see different athletes rowing and also observe some small boats sailing.
The room is picturesque with modern and more classic details. What I like the most, as I said, is the balcony with views of the estuary and the comfort of the bed.
Good TV, it has a mini bar and coffee maker with two complimentary capsules and downstairs in the hotel hall there is an old elevator in which it has coffee, chocolate and other drinks also free of charge 24 hours a day.
Good attention from the employees since they were always friendly and willing, and everything was clean.
I will return as soon as I can, I felt very comfortable with everything 😃👍🏽

We stayed one night in this hotel on the way to the Ferry to Ireland. There is secure underground parking (at extra cost) which we found useful. However, we were disappointed when, having arrived at 3.45 pm in Bilbao after an 8 hour drive in 30 degrees+ we were told that there was no facility for any drinks or refreshments in the Hotel and that such facilities would not be available until 7.30pm. We were further disappointed to find that when we came for breakfast the following morning, there was no coffee, bread or other basic food. We had to ask a member of staff to obtain some basic provisions for breakfast which seemed to confuse him. We noticed that at least four other guests who came after us also had little to eat. We gained the impression (right or wrong) that the hotel is not geared to accommodating foreign guests as after an initial early breakfast rush there seemed little interest in guests coming later. We particularly noted the lack of staff on the ground and everything seemed to be the responsibility of one staff member.
My husband and I stayed two nights at this hotel, LOCATION: The hotel is in a commercial area, above a service station. The small town is far from the hotel. For us it only served as a base for going to Bilbao SERVICE: Convenient reception open 24 hours. Presence of underground parking, even if outside the structure. Elevator. ROOM: Clean, not spacious room, with an overly large wardrobe, a desk, a flat TV. Bedside tables that were cubes with lamps on the wall. The BATHROOM: Small, with a door with a latch, perhaps due to a broken lock. Hand shower with a little limescale. Soap dispenser in the shower with glass. Not necessary, just a bar of soap BREAKFAST: We didn't use it due to the excessive price QUALITY/PRICE RATIO: Very in line with the room. OVERALL OPINION: For a couple of nights it's fine, certainly not for a long stay
