I used the apartment for the first time.
The layout of the room was fashionable, but the dust was terrible. The sofas, cushions and windows were also stained. The remote control of the TV was not able to be paired with the manufacturer different from the TV at all.
However, it was good because I was able to stay cheaply.

There was a little dusty but beautiful. I was troubled all the time because I didn't receive the check-in email, but it was good to be able to check in safely by phone.

As other reviews have written - there are so many amenities and complimentary offerings here - afternoon tea including wine, after dinner drinks, well-stocked mini-bar all inclusive, and lovely breakfast and dinners. The rooms are very comfortable. For onsen, there is on- premise one outside onsen and we enjoyed two others at the close-by sister hotel, including the detached bathhouse throw-back to an all stone and wood onsen. Marvelous.

77samuraiWe visited Sapporo for the snow festival in Feb 2020. We selected the Leopalace based on location/price and reviews. On arrival, due to the weather and late night we decided to take a taxi to the hotel, this cost about Y1000. (after our stay it was fine weather, so we walked back to the JR station which took about 15 minutes). NB - neither my wife or myself speak Japanese, just a few phrases. Check in at the hotel was easy and straight forward, and we were directed to lifts behind reception. Our room was clean and spacious by Japanese standards. We chose not to book breakfasts, we were there for the snow festival so there was a huge variety of fresh market style food available. The hotel was a very short walk from the main avenue where the festival is held. There is 7/11 located on the corner of the hotel and also a long shopping arcade a couple of minutes walkaway. We wanted to use the hotels spa facility which is shown to be on floor 9. we put on the robes provided but having taken the lift up to floor 9 we found only bedrooms. so we called reception and mistakenly asked for direction to the onsen (we should have said public bath) because we asked for the wrong thing we were told the hotel does not have an onsen and then they hung up the phone. So I changed in to regular clothes went to reception and eventually worked out that the only way to the spa was via another lift in reception. Because we had to walk through reception we elected to wear regular clothes which was fortunate because eonce we found the spa area there were large signs telling you in English) not to wear your robes in reception, of course by the time you read that in the spa you would have already walked through reception. I don't mind if there is little English signage but if you take the time to have English translations put them where they can be of use - IN THE ROOMS. (oh and you need to take the towels from your room to use in the spa too) . We found the room temperature very comfortable and both slept well during our stay. We asked the reception to make a dinner reservation for us at a popular restaurant for our second night, this took a little while as initially they assumed we wanted to book into the hotel resturant, but once we passed this confusion they reception were very helpful. Making sure we had our booking reference and even showing us on a map where it was (even though we already knew this). Other than the phone call about the onsen/bath we found the reception staff very friendly and willing to help.

GGuest UserI love love love this hotel! The location is amazing, and the directions to the hotel is really easy to follow from the Sapporo Station. There are quite a few convenience stores nearby like Lawson, 7-11 and Seicomart, so it’s really convenient when you want to get something at night.
Though I did not use their amenities, it seemed to be super clean and new too. They have a smoking room on the first floor but I rarely smell any smoke when I am waiting for the lift except for one day when there were exceptionally lots of smokers, so the lifts were filled with the smell.
The room size is sufficient for me, since I’m travelling solo. I had enough space to open my luggage and enough hangers to hang my clothes. However, if you’re travelling as a couple or more, it probably wouldn’t be enough. The room is really clean and you can opt for room cleaning every day, and they would replenish all of the toiletries, water and green tea/coffee sachets. You can decide whether to change your bedsheet all of that, by placing a card on the bed to request for new bedsheets.
The Tanukikoji Shopping Street is around 15-20mins walk from the hotel, may not be close for others but you can take the train from Sapporo :) for me, because I love walking, it was a pretty okay distance for me to walk. There are also some tourists attractions that are within walking distance such as the JR Tower, Sapporo Clock Tower, Sapporo TV Tower, Hokkaido University, etc.
The only con I could find is that the staffs don’t really speak in English. So I had to use the translation app to ask them questions.
Overall, I would want to stay there again when I’m travelling to Sapporo. It’s close to the central station so it’ll be easier for me to do day trips out of Sapporo.

SSIU MINBest Western Sapporo Odori Koen has good value for your money. We had a triple beds family room. It is somewhat small, but hotel rooms are typically small in Japanese standard. It should not be compared with Best Western Hotel sizes in North America. The hotel front desk lobby is nicely decorated. Hotel room has a good size desk, it has a mini fridge, kettle, drawer with instant coffee, creamer and sugar. It also has a window but not much to view. It is compact but well equipped. The front desk hotel staff were friendly, polite and spoke OK English. Vending machine on ground floor was stocked with a variety of drinks, including beers. Two microwave ovens were available on hotel lobby, so you can heat up some foods from convenient stores, but I preferred it was inside my room. I particularly like this hotel provided generous supplies of instant coffee, creamer, sugar, green tea bag, stir-stick at hotel lobby for guests, even though there were supplies in my room, so you can replenish without asking. In term of location, It is almost 17 - 18 minutes walk from Sapporo Station (about 1.3 to 1.4 km walk), it is somewhat far. However, if you know the area well, you may get to the hotel mostly in the underground shopping street from Sapporo Station, this is very important to know if you visit Sapporo in the winter. Once you checked into the hotel, it is conveniently near many attractions, including Sapporo TV Tower, Odori Koen, Tanukikoju Shopping Street (many restaurants there). If you get into the underground shopping street, the restaurant choices are almost unlimited.

เเราจะไปด้วยกันIt is a room that is very suitable for a group of friends. The room is clean with 4 futons, but we can sleep 6 people. The price is not expensive. There is a microwave included. I like this. Because in hotels there is no separate bathroom and shower room. The good thing is that you don't have to wait for each other to enter while bathing. With people going to the bathroom/bedroom zone, there will be a heater, but when you open the door outside, the sink, kitchen, and bathroom zones will be very cold without heaters/this room will be apartment style. Every time you get on the elevator, you must press the floor followed by the code you received when booking. The security system is tight ^^ and finally, to check in you have to go up to the 3rd floor and check in yourself at the computer.

This hotel is very near to Odori park Subway Station, walking about 10min, The convenient store 7-11 is just beside the hotel, and many shopping Mall is just walking distance within 10 min. My family has a nice stay here and we definitely will come back again when we next visit Hokkaido.

HhelenabearIt was my first time to stay in a hotel in Sapporo. The room was already quite tight so I chose a smoking room. It had a slight smell, but it was still very clean. The room was quite big and the location was good. Nakajima It's 5 minutes away from Koen Station, 30 minutes' walk from Sapporo Station, and 15 minutes' walk from Tanukikoji. It is still very convenient. There are 3 breakfast restaurants to choose from, which are mainly buffets, with Western and Japanese food to choose from. There are also many good restaurants around the hotel.

KKyliesungOne of Hokkaido's popular hot springs, it takes only an hour to get to the Kawaki bus station. Dingshanxi is famous for its red leaves, and there are many interesting legends of Hetong. So when walking in Dingshanxi Hot Spring Street, not only is the valley full of maple red, but also from time to time, you will see Hetong furnishings. Although this winter visit, there are no red leaves, but the beauty is not reduced. First go to Dingshanxi Erjian Park, then go to the Erjian Suspension Bridge to enjoy the mountain view of the valley. Shiroi Koibito Park
UUpgraded To FirstShiroi Koibito Park is one of the most popular places to visit in Sapporo. Also known as the Japan Chocolate Factory many locals and tourists go to see how local chocolate is made. There were many people on the weekday we went. Many tour groups as well. There is underground parking for those who will drive there. You have to try there ice cream and famous Hokkaido milkshake. Overall a decent experience but wouldn't go back a second time.
