My family and friends stayed at Marriott's Maui Ocean Club for 5 weeks over Christmas, New Year's and into mid- January. We had one unit for 3 weeks and 2 units for a week each. All of our rooms were clean, well maintained and functional. The staff was very helpful as we changed rooms and they stored our groceries for us. The hot tubs and community kitchen were closed due to covid which is understandable. The beach chairs were socially distanced and cleaned quickly after people left. The staff was always friendly and ready to help. The best example of this was Marynor, she found my new pair of sunglasses which I must have lost getting out of the car in the parking ramp and turned them in. I was thrilled to get them back because I figured I lost them and whoever found them would keep them. This was my 7th stay at the Marriott, my favorite place to stay on Maui and I will definitely return. Mahalo to the Maui Marriott team and especially Marynor for another amazing vacation.

The hotel was beautiful and the rooms were bigger than I had expected. I had the pleasure of renting out room 170. Once I stepped into the room, I felt that I was transported into days of past Hawaii. The room was decorated with small trinkets of hula dancers and pineapples. There were conversation pieces throughout the room. The room also had a KING bed which was nice but too big for my husband and I. Downstairs, there is a small night market square consisting of several food trucks, and there are also several businesses selling T-shirts and handmade wood carvings. The overall grade of the hotel is 3-4 stars, the experience is average, and the price/performance ratio is acceptable, so I don't recommend it.
