Hotel was pretty nice. Nice location with plenty of restaurants and corner stores in walking distance. Staff is excellent. My microwave wasn’t working so receptionist moved me and my friend to another room asap. Would definitely recommend.

In terms of hardware, the facilities are good. I am a suite and the sofa, bed, and TV are relatively new. The hotel has free parking lot with lots of parking spaces. Breakfast is not bad, typical American breakfast. The waiter was kind and friendly. When I checked in, I saw that the hotel specially made a welcome slogan for me, indicating that the hotel treats its guests very carefully and has a great experience.

Beds were very comfortable. Extra living room was perfect. Don't miss out on their amazing rooftop bar view. However the hotel needs some remodeling. Carpet is old, bathroom outlet isn't working. Bathroom overall needs update. Needs more light fixture. 1 elevator is not operating. Another one was down for half a day.

GGuest Userstayed here twice in 2 weeks for business. First room had 2 beds as I was traveling with someone. 2nd time was just a single bed for a few nights. Both stays I enjoyed very much! There is a nice outdoor fenced area just to soak in the atmosphere of the neighborhood. The beds were super comfortable and I love that they had sooo many pillows on them! I showered at different times throughout the day and there was no issues with the water pressure or hot water. There is a coffee lounge bar right down stairs and they also have live sports on TV. This hotel offers every amenity that you might need- I hope to be back! Thank you Marsh hotel!

Check in was a breeze, Mikey at the front desk displayed nothing but great customer service, along with Larry throughout our stay. Our room was exactly like the photos on Expedia. We had dinner at the Bombay Club the first night and the food was delish! However, if you do not want to take Bourbon Street to bed with you, this may not be your place..lol. We heard the partying, car horns blowing, trap music playing (love trap music) not to mention our room was right by the elevator and our twelve year old was with us (She thought she was going to partying too..lol) I always want the experience that I read about and see from traveling television shows, etc. Got the experience and next time we're in NOLA we will opt for a different experience. Ssdgirl077675I'm trying to be optimistic by giving this property an ”Average” rating, but unfortunately my review is going to be very reminiscent of the other latest review on this hotel. While I think it's commendable that the hotel is willing to help displaced people (possibly from the most recent hurricane), it would have been nice to know ahead of time. as we would have chosen a different option to stay at. Typically Hampton Inns are consistent in their atmosphere and reputation, but with the questionable people loitering in and around the property, it just wasn't an experience we were willing to pay for. In addition, because of all these people who were temporarily living at the hotel (possibly through FEMA or the Red Cross), their cars stayed parked in the hotel's parking garage all the time. This left absolutely no room for our car. When I asked the front desk gal abut other possible parking options, she stated that unfortunately there wasn't any additional parking associated with the property, so she said we were on our own as far as finding a spot wherever we could, even if it was a mile or more away. Long story short, we felt like we couldn't leave the hotel if we actually found a spot to park in, for fear of not having one when we came back (in addition, let me tell you, you need some mad parking skills to maneuver though this parking garage). Finally, seeing people walking around with their alcohol throughout the garage was unsettling too. We were supposed to stay at the hotel 4 nights, but decided to check out early and move to another propertyl due to questionable people staying in and around the building/parking lot, but most of all because of the lack of parking options for a paying guest. I feel for the hotel staff because I'm guessing the entire situation is out of their hands, but as far as it being the Hampton Inn experience you're used to, it is not (at least not right now).

GGuest UserStaff at front desk was friendly enough. No parking for hotel specifically, but we parked in the garage right next door. Lots of broken down cars, but thankfully we didn't have any issues. Some strange people wandering around the streets, but that's not anything the hotel can change. Location was good - not too far a walk to Bourbon Street & the French Quarter. We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite, which had a full kitchen and nice size open area. Our pull-out bed had no mattress on it, so someone had to bring one up. It was nice to have 2 bathrooms, however, one of the bedrooms didn't have a window in it. Did not try the breakfast or use any of the common spaces.

GGuest UserI booked this hotel 2 months ago through hotels.com. I selected the ”pay at hotel” option. We show up and they do not have our reservation or any available rooms. Unfortunately, the card I used to reserve the room was compromised and had to be canceled. I forgot that this card was used to reserve the room, and never followed-up. Nevertheless, I would think that since I only reserved the room and would still pay at the hotel, the hotel would hold on to my reservation, or maybe contact us before canceling the reservation. This was a huge inconvenience, and ended up roaming the streets in desperate need of a place to stay late at night.
