I initially chose this hostel because it was the only one I could see with a pool but it went above and beyond my expectations. The staff were very accommodating and knowledgeable of the area, the food was delicious and the beds were comfortable with A/C. I accidentally left some clothes at the hostel and Lisa posted them all the way to the UK for me so thank you so much Lisa :) I'll definitely recommend Seconds to friends and will stay again next time I'm in Colombo

To be honest, the photos looked much better (cleaner and happier than reality). It's simple in its own way, pointed for classic backpackers. Aside from the general lack of organization and storage in all divisions, the bathrooms were far from being tidy, with bad smells and clogged toilets. Besides, our personal experience was a little worse. They didn't have our reservation, couldn't give us what we booked (1 room, 4 people) sending us instead for 2 rooms (1+2 persons), there weren't given any indications on bath locations, amenities and other usefu info and, in the end, we endend up paying 6€ more (15%).

The ambiance was amazing. A hostel with a pool, that’s awesome. Great place to stay in the city of Colombo with superb assistance. Yanise is so kind and friendly. You can always count on her. We had only one breakfast out of 6 days stay as we went outside Colombo as well, for 3 days. Nice location and staffs. Will surely book the same hostel if given the chance. Cool room as well by the way. We’re group of six (friends) and they put us together in one room. Cheers.

Hotel pour petit budget qui est remis a neuf avec nouvelle piscine.
Proprietaire jeune et super sympathique et serviable.
Propre et trés trés bonne adresse pour solo ou couple.
Trés bien situé avec beaucoup de service.
Pour court sejour sur colombo, ideal ou long sejour pour les discussions dehors avec les autres voyageurs.
je le recommande sans probleme.
