"I stayed 4 nights. It is basically a backpackers converted to motel . There was a communal kitchen and shared bathroom. The rooms were small but had all the things needed. T.v and Wifi although wifi didn't work.....but is seemed to be the case throughout Cooktown. The garden was leafy providing lots of shade with cozy seating books throughout. Rules were simple security pretty good. Its a sweet place if you're mood needing luxurious facilities. Wirth the cheaper rate paid"

"Zakwaterowanie było kabiną. Znaleźliśmy kabinę czystą i wygodną. Jedynym problemem było to, że kuchenka zajęła dużo czasu na ogrzewanie i gdy korzystanie z obu gorących płyt nie mógł ich osobno pracować. Cena była rozsądna i właściciel parku mógł dać wytyczne na temat najlepiej dostrzegać atrakcji."

Mungumby Lodge - Cooktown ★★★

"A very friendly host couple did their best to give us a good experience at Mungumby Lodge. Located in the middle of nature this was perfect for us. The host even caught some insects for us to see, since we had little luck due to unexpected rainfall. After looking we set them back to live their lifes outside. Expect nature to be close, and a sweet big gecko in the common area in the evening 😀 The 3 km road there was a dirt road, so drive carefully if using a normal car (as we did) A nice place where we would go again if ever in the region."
