What an AMAZING place. I RECOMMEND HIGHLY. The venue is picturesque and calming. The owner is from Cortona and VERY EXPERIENCED in the hospitality industry. We went for a lovely lunch that started with antipastos on the patio near the pool. We then went inside to the dining area and had a lovely four course lunch with wine pairings including dessert. Locando Agli Amici is a magical, calming place and I can’t with until my next visit. 🙌🏾🙌🏾💝

Perfect accommodation / perfect food / perfect cleanliness This proved to be the perfect location for a base with plenty of options nearby, no parking issues and views to die for The hospitality of the hosts exemplary, whats not to appreciate, mixed with the unique, picturesque and idyllic locale, no complaints at any level from us We are looking forward to our next visit Holly and Ray woz here

A realy nice hotel. With friendly people, Sylvia made sure we had a great stay. Breakfast is excellent en very diverse. Rooms are great and very clean. You can walk to cortona it is a 20 min walk Make sure your phone is charged so you have a flashlight when walking back in the dark

This has to be a 5 star stay. We initially chose Locanda agli Amici as they had an outdoor pool whilst walking distance into Cortona Town centre. Both were big ticks as there aren't many accommodation options in Cortona with a pool and we wanted a place to relax and explore. The views from here are beautiful and tranquil. The rooms were a good size and comfortable beds plus the breakfast was amazing - one of the very best we have come across in Italy. However the gem of this place is the hospitality. Silvia went above and beyond for us in terms of making our stay enjoyable and was very helpful to answer any questions we had at any point in the day. For the price, this place is an absolute steal and would recommend to everyone.

We spent a wonderful week here. Very quiet and relaxing which is just what we were looking for. Sylvia and Claudio did everything to make our stay perfect. The Locanda is newly refrubished, ultra clean and comfortable. Torreone is a small town with just a few houses and a nice bar/cafe, other than the Locanda. It's a pleasant walk into Cortona town. There are a few inclines to deal with depending on which route you take, but we found it absolutely fine. A good way to walk off all the fantastic meals we had. Amazing breakfast and be sure to check out Organika in Cortona which is run by the same team. Highly recommended.

What a gem! Located at a perfect walking distance from the center of Cortona, this place has it all. Great views overlooking the Tuscany valley. Quiet and away from the crowded streets. Lovely pool area. Excellent rooms also with great view. And the breakfast.... Oh my... Such a treat! Silvia runs this place with warmth, professionalism and care. She goes the extra mile to help out with anything from restaurant suggestions to interesting day trips. Don't be fooled by the not so great google-map-photos of this place. It is a gem!

This small hotel is perfect. We were 2 couples on a trip to Tuscany, and the experience couldn't be better. Silvia, the Manager is so nice that makes you feel at home. The rooms and breakfast was wonderful. The view of the rooms is stunning. All atound perfect!

With no experience of the beauty that this part of Tuscany holds, I just picked this hotel with very little thought. The price was right and that was that. Apon arriving we found a very recently renovated small hotel, with a fantastic view over the valley. We were arrived extremely early, Silvia was extremely helpful. The room that we were in was spacious and comfortable. We slept well and the breakfast was far more than expected. The whole stay was extremely enjoyable.

Davvero una bellissima scoperta, in bellissima cittadina come Cortina. Personale gentilissimo ed accogliente che ti sentire a casa. Camere confortevoli pulite e dotate di tutto il necessario per godersi una bella vacanza. Cena presso il ristorante davvero molto buona. Colazione top, fornita di tutto e molto bella da vedere e molto buona. Prezzo ottimo. Grazie e complimenti. Un saluto dal piccolo Matteo😀
