We’ve been to many IHG Hotels over the last 2+ years, and this is the best by far we’ve stayed at. I believe the experience lays with the staff enjoying where they work, whom they work with, and whom they work for. (We who stay there!) The staff was friendly (a shout-out to Ms. Dorothy who hosted the hot breakfast) to the maintenance guy who was proud of how the hotel looked. The rooms were clean & inviting after our day of driving. It’s not easy to keep things running well in the Hospitality world right now, but I really appreciate the way this hotel welcomed us. I chose this one after driving a field inspection of several hotels. Warm and quiet, the black eldest sister at the front desk is very welcoming and meets the requirement of a higher floor and a more northerly (quiet) floor. Clean room. Friendly helpful staff. Convenient location. I stay at this hotel the majority of my stays in C/U. Like all hotels there is a little sticker shock when there is an event in town. Beds are comfortable. HVAC works well. Showers have plenty of hot water. Internet service is good.
