Hotele w: Cai Village/Longkan Wharf, Dali

The room is decent. Frontdesk is helpful and kind. They even help to carry my heavy luggage ( upon my request) as the taxi drop off point is 100m away due to a road repair works affecting its normal access. The hotel rooftop balcony is perfect to see the lake and to watch sunrise and sunset. To get good dinner meal options, I still recommend to travel to the ancient town. The durian (Thai and Vietnamese) in dali and Lijiang are the cheapest around in the country that I can find correct at the time and season of travel.

The design of the inn was beautiful and the room was clean and comfortable, we had breakfast served during our stay as well. The staff were nice and helpful as well with moving our luggages and answering our questions. The location is also not far from the south gate of Dali Ancient City, and is just a short walk away from night markets and other food options. The only small complaints we had was that the toilet seat in our room was quite loose and room slippers were not replaced on our second and final night. Other than that, it was a great experience.

We've been traveling in China for 2 months and this is the best place we have stayed. Very comfortable and clean and quiet. The hosts were very nice and responsive and helpful. We hired the owner to give us a tour of Dali and the lake and mountains that was excellent. The host gave us excellent restaurant recommendations. The host arranged our transport from the train station, and our transport to our next city we are visiting. We have all excellent things to say about our stay here and hosts. Highly recommended.

We loved everything about our stay here! Makes our experience in Dali so much better. Worth mentioning: - the staff contacted us and guided us even before we arrived there, they shared the location for Didi drop off (since cars can’t go through) - the staff is very helpful — they picked us up and dropped us off to the Didi pickup point and carried our luggage upstairs. They also answered very fast when we asked questions on wechat - the room is beautiful and the hotel is right in front of the lake - the room is complete with all amenities - there are a few halal (qing shen) places nearby and walking distance (the staff told us about this!) - bike rental is just downstairs, and scooter/snoopy scooter rental is like 500m++ away to the left - they gifted us rose tea as a souvenir when we checked out - they let us know we can check in early, right after our room is being cleaned by the cleaner Things to consider (but not a dealbreaker for me) - you need to take the stairs to get to the room; might not be suitable if you have elderly traveling with you or you have knees issues - the walls are not sound proof - the provided disposable towels; you need to bring yours if you prefer thicker towels All in all, my experience was so great. The price might be slightly on the higher end, but it’s so worth it.

Great view of Erhai from our room! Had partial view of Cang mountain from the room’s balcony too. The cycling and pedestrain paths along Erhai are right outside the hotel and easily accessible from our hotel. It was peaceful and quiet, away from the public crowd compared to the busier areas like the Longkan Wharf, but yet still a walkable distance to Longkan Wharf to watch the sunrise. We also caught the stars at night! The mixian and buns for breakfast are a must try. Had no issues with calling DiDi to our hotel too. Do note that there are no elevators but the kind owner helped to carry our luggages up to and down from our room. The owner was friendly and approachable. Lastly, the lobby and room were well decorated and maintained. The room was clean and the self-service washing machine and dryer were a bonus.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Upon our arrival at Dali Station, the driver was quick to respond and gave clear directions to the pick-up point. He was also very helpful with our luggages, which made the start of our trip smooth and pleasant. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive throughout our stay. They upgraded our room, promptly addressed our needs (room's toilet issues, rental of bikes) and offered helpful advice on how to get around Dali, which we truly appreciated. Our room was clean, comfortable, and offered a beautiful view — a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. Overall, it was a great stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dali! Have also feedback to the hotel that it will be great if they have more hooks in the shower area. We will be back! 😀

This was the perfect stay just by the Erhai lakeside with a fantastic view and lovely hosts. Our hosts went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. They helped us arrange for a bike rental and our transfer to Shaxi Ancient Town for the next day. Also huge thanks to them for helping us drive to the collection point with us to collect our Taobao haul. Huge thumbs up from us Singaporean guests. Highly recommend!

I found my ideal quiet stay with a sea view in Dali Cuncun, and I really made the right choice this time! 💕 It's very close to the ancient city but much quieter. The soundproofing in the room is so good it feels like being cut off from the world, and I could see the shimmering Erhai Lake right from my bed. ✨ Connecting to the Marshall speaker and listening to my favorite music instantly made me feel so relaxed and healed. The butler service was truly thoughtful—from trip reminders before check-in, to warm greetings every day, to arranging a tea break under the canopy on the rooftop. It was all so detailed yet natural, making my stay incredibly worry-free. In the evening, I went to the rooftop for some fresh air; the sky during the blue hour was as beautiful as a painting. 🌅 The hotel conveniently brought up the complimentary aged Pu-erh tea and fruit platter at just the right time. What surprised me the most was breakfast: the local specialty rice noodles were absolutely delicious. It’s been a long time since I’ve had such tasty rice noodles, and paired with eggs and sweet potatoes, it was simple yet heartwarming. The coffee served with afternoon tea was also exceptionally good. As a moderate coffee lover, I even bought two bags of beans to take home and brew myself before leaving—to have such a treat was truly worth it. If you're also looking for a quiet, warm place where the service shines in the details, this hotel perfectly fits the bill! 🥰🥰

小涵 provided the best services to us. She picked us from the outside shop and brought our lugguages back with the scooters, saving us the troubles to pull the luggages through the pebble Alley. The location was facing Er Hai. The evening and morning view were spectacular. Highly recommended for families who like to stay relaxed and strolling or cycling along the lake side.

Fantastic service, like the environment. Rent a bike or scooter to ride around the lake is really something enjoyable. Very close to the Dali old town as well. Do call the hotel to arrange the pickup service. Not all the rooms can see the lake from the room. Better check with the hotel staff if picky about it. Nevertheless you can see the lake at hotel lobby or at the roof top.
