Hotele w: Cai Village/Longkan Wharf, Dali

The room is decent. Frontdesk is helpful and kind. They even help to carry my heavy luggage ( upon my request) as the taxi drop off point is 100m away due to a road repair works affecting its normal access. The hotel rooftop balcony is perfect to see the lake and to watch sunrise and sunset. To get good dinner meal options, I still recommend to travel to the ancient town. The durian (Thai and Vietnamese) in dali and Lijiang are the cheapest around in the country that I can find correct at the time and season of travel.

The design of the inn was beautiful and the room was clean and comfortable, we had breakfast served during our stay as well. The staff were nice and helpful as well with moving our luggages and answering our questions. The location is also not far from the south gate of Dali Ancient City, and is just a short walk away from night markets and other food options. The only small complaints we had was that the toilet seat in our room was quite loose and room slippers were not replaced on our second and final night. Other than that, it was a great experience.

We've been traveling in China for 2 months and this is the best place we have stayed. Very comfortable and clean and quiet. The hosts were very nice and responsive and helpful. We hired the owner to give us a tour of Dali and the lake and mountains that was excellent. The host gave us excellent restaurant recommendations. The host arranged our transport from the train station, and our transport to our next city we are visiting. We have all excellent things to say about our stay here and hosts. Highly recommended.

Great view of Erhai from our room! Had partial view of Cang mountain from the room’s balcony too. The cycling and pedestrain paths along Erhai are right outside the hotel and easily accessible from our hotel. It was peaceful and quiet, away from the public crowd compared to the busier areas like the Longkan Wharf, but yet still a walkable distance to Longkan Wharf to watch the sunrise. We also caught the stars at night! The mixian and buns for breakfast are a must try. Had no issues with calling DiDi to our hotel too. Do note that there are no elevators but the kind owner helped to carry our luggages up to and down from our room. The owner was friendly and approachable. Lastly, the lobby and room were well decorated and maintained. The room was clean and the self-service washing machine and dryer were a bonus.

小涵 provided the best services to us. She picked us from the outside shop and brought our lugguages back with the scooters, saving us the troubles to pull the luggages through the pebble Alley. The location was facing Er Hai. The evening and morning view were spectacular. Highly recommended for families who like to stay relaxed and strolling or cycling along the lake side.

Fantastic service, like the environment. Rent a bike or scooter to ride around the lake is really something enjoyable. Very close to the Dali old town as well. Do call the hotel to arrange the pickup service. Not all the rooms can see the lake from the room. Better check with the hotel staff if picky about it. Nevertheless you can see the lake at hotel lobby or at the roof top.

Amenities and services: 10/10 The rooms are very well maintained, and looks very good. Unfortunately the bathtub was not working during our stay, but that’s okay, the shower was working very well. Nil complains, and excellent host as well. He is very accommodating, and will try his best to accomodate to your requests. He compensated us for some minor hiccups that occured, and I feel he that he went above what was expected of him. 10/10 service. Location: 9/10 Located beside er hai lake, it’s quite convenient to take a stroll at the lakeside, with several rental bicycles nearby. Located beside a food store (home run) which served excellent food in my opinion (best so far in my stay in China). Has several convinence store nearby as well. However, it is quite far from the ancient city, which is accessible by their private hire services, so not much of an issue. There are many other home stays within the vicinity, can’t say about those, but my experience in this homestay was pleasant and memorable. P.S next door has a cat. A very cute one.

是一家新開業的店，但房間裏面很乾凈，沒有什麼怪味。管家小姐姐人也超級好，説他們還沒有上線“免費做手工下鮮花餅”的套餐，但是可以先帶我們一起做着玩玩，做完了烤出來也特別香軟好吃。尤其是自己親手動手做的鮮花餅和外面買的比起來，總覺得是要更美味一點，這種手工體驗比吃到好吃的更讓人開心！房間的硬件設施很贊，有全屋智能冰箱，空調音響飲水機，還有很多好用的小物品，軟裝風格也是我很喜歡的感覺，感覺出來玩的這段旅程都因為這家民宿而更加精彩了，值得一説的是露台和院子拍照都比較出片。

The front desk lady with long hair provided excellent service—she was very attentive, responsible, and responded to messages quickly. From the terrace of this room, you get an unobstructed view of the entire Erhai Lake. Just a one-minute walk from the hotel, there are plenty of Instagram-worthy spots, as well as many restaurants, cafés, and bike rental points nearby. If you want to go to the Old Town, taking a Didi is also very convenient. Although cars are not allowed inside the Erhai area due to regulations, it’s actually just a three-minute walk to a pickup spot where Didi can pick you up. The room is spacious, and the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. If you’re looking to stay by Erhai Lake, this is a great choice. We had a very happy and comfortable stay.

We had a great experience staying in this luxury homestay. The moment we stepped into the room, it’s very spacious, airy, cleaned, and bright. Our room has a huge window in the front and we really enjoyed looking out to the beautiful sky and clouds. The room is equipped with lots of high technology, like 小愛同學voice control of all the lightings, curtains, and room temperature. It also finds me a lot of my favorite songs. Bathroom has a smart toilet that has so many features. Even all the shower heads are well thought out. What we like the most is the terrace where we can see spectacular sky, Cangshan Mountains and Erhai lake. But what makes this place special is their owner/staffs. They are all very friendly and helpful!! I really think this place deserves a four stars instead of three. I highly recommend this homestay to my friends and family.
