Hotele w pobliżu: Snorkel ＇N Swim w Dauin

The Australian whale is the biggest surprise of this trip! Although not big but especially warm, our dolphin room opens to the beach, and you can enjoy the wonderful sunset and sunrise in the room. Every day with the sound of the waves wake up to sleep, in the afternoon three or five friends slowly sea breeze tea chat, children play in the yard, sometimes run to the beach to pick up shells, sometimes in the pool to play in the water, especially pleasant and happy. Brother Tao and Sister Na are very enthusiastic. They sent us to the pier in the morning. After a day of play, they would put us in advance to relieve the fatigue of the hot springs. They would eat and drink together in the evening and chat. They helped us plan the next day's itinerary, especially Sister Na's cooking skills. It was really great! I really didn't expect to make us feel at home in the Philippines! Play well, eat well, really don't want to go! Come to Duma to really recommend Australian whales! !

The moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us very, very warmly . They immediately gave us a homecoming welcome. Nothing seemed to be too much for them to comfort us and make our stay wonderful. After a few days every staffmember felt like longtime friends and we sincerely love all of them. When we leave i’m sure we’re going miss each and everyone of them. Best resort and most surely the best staff ever !!!! We are alteady dreaming and making plans to return as soon as possible!!!!!!! Thank you for your kindness, professionalism, hospitality and so much more that we could have ever imagined. You are a Group of wonderful people that are going to stay in our hearts for ever and we hope we can maintain in contact and meet again soon. Lots of respect for all of you. Selamat kaayo and be safe. We love Siërra resort, the staff, Critter Republic Divecenter and it’s Staff very much. Our room felt like home to us. It was very clean and we were overwhelmed by the view from our window and the very spacious balcony. The restaurant had a very nice menu and the cook served food that was beyond excellent.

Tom helped a lot, the whole is not bad, the point is that the bath water is desalinated, the room hotel has no hair dryer at the front desk, the room should not be eaten, there are ants (the breakfast packed in the evening is invaded by ants), hotel Supporting hidden schools, travel is still very convenient, FD is generally APO and Dao, there are also night dive

I'm conflicted by my stay here, so I'll just lay out the pros and cons. Pros: Absolutely great dive shop. First and foremost, thank you to Gabby who was my divemaster for all my dives. He is phenomenal and a huge asset to Mike's. Jonathan who manages the diving also provided good service. The rental gear was in excellent condition except for the booties which have seen better days but got the job done. They took me and one other guy to Apo island which I do not think is a profitable trip for them with just 2 customers, but they knew how much time we had at Mike's and made it work for us. Gabby also took me out on a solo night shore dive (which was incredible). Not all dive shops will do this. Corri who manages Mike's also provided excellent customer service. She responded promptly to my emails and then gave me her number so I could Whatsapp her to coordinate a transfer from the ferry. And then after I had an issue with my A/C (see below), she thanked me for saying something so I told her all my complaints as they happened (nothing in this review will be a surprise to them), and she did her very best to resolve them. She never once blamed me as being high maintenance, at least not to my face. And really, I'm not high maintenance. Mike's just has some issues that it needs to address. The wifi was really good and it worked in my room. This is a big deal and a rarity in the Philippines when you get outside the big cities. Mixed: Mike's restaurant has a fairly large menu, and there's a full page of Mexican foods as Mike himself is from California, where I lived for many years. I had the seafood burrito and it was bad. The seafood itself was fine although perhaps not the kinds I would expect to see in a seafood burrito, but ingredient availability plays into that. The real issue is that the flavor was well off. Now perhaps I was foolish to get Mexican food in the Philippines, but I think that if you put something on your menu, you should be proud of it, and this dish was not something to be proud of. Corri did tell me that she and Mike were going to order the seafood burrito the next day and reevaluate it, so again I appreciate her taking my complaint seriously. On the other hand, I had one of the Filipino soup dishes (I can't remember the name) and it was tasty. The breakfasts were also good. So food is a mixed bag, and perhaps you'll be fine if you stick to breakfast and Filipino food. Cons: The biggest con by far is that the bed is uncomfortable. The mattress is a 3 inch piece of soft foam. That simply doesn't cut it. As a side sleeper, my hips were hitting the slats below. Corri again took my complaint seriously and brought me a second mattress to put on top of the first. This helped but these mattresses are so soft, it's still not conducive to a good night's sleep. I stayed in several other places across the Philippines during my trip, including places significantly cheaper than Mike's, and all of my mattresses

For a 5 star hotel, it doesn’t seem like it is and definitely not worth the price. -Poor amenities (Example, they offer a small thin bar of soap as a body wash. Why wouldn’t they offer liquid body wash? Also, some towels were overused) -They clean the rooms/bathrooms and change your towels after 3 days instead of everyday. There’s no pandemic anymore so why not clean the rooms everyday?! -Good food, but not enough choices for breakfast (Why wouldn’t pancakes be included in the options?Also, the coffee doesn’t taste good - strong and burnt tasting) -Nice staff, but they need more training: ＞Food Service is slow and inefficient. During breakfast and lunch, our food were served after hours of waiting. Some of our orders came incorrectly (not what we ordered). ＞Disorganize and lack in system. ＞They lack in staff both at the front desk and Sans rival Cafe. -They will charge you if you don’t return all your keycards. If this was a true 5 star hotel, you wouldn’t charge your guests for something cheap and disposable. Overall, our stay was ok (big rooms and nice pool), but lacking in amenities and training of staff. There are more cons than pros. Whoever owns this hotel seems like they are saving too much on costs. Never going to stay in any of the Henry Hotels in the Philippines.

The place is nice, the salt water infinity pool is beautiful. It's quiet. The two small pools however were dirty, and so was the CR. Also the service could be better. We had to ask for things twice. One thing I didn't like about it is that the only vegetarian option for the day package guests is a bland pizza margherita. A day package is 600 php per person, which is more than at most resorts in Dauin. And those other resorts offer a better variaty of vegetarian options.

The whole hotel is very nice, just a little small, only 9 rooms, for 26 guests. But the room is large, the hotel is quiet, the holiday is very comfortable, the pool is small, breakfast is average. Diving (three times the market price) and calling a car are relatively expensive, and the restaurant is slightly more expensive than the outside. All service staff are very good. But I don't understand it. It's a good hotel. The road into the hotel turned out to be a few hundred meters long country bumpy road. It was so boring that every time you take a TUTU car, you must be dizzy. The kitchen is good, but I think it's a display, because if you use the kitchen for 100US/day, it won't cost you a lot of food at any restaurant outside.

The location of the hotel is far from the city centre of Dumaguete, but it is close to the apo island where the turtles are seen, about a fifteen-minute tutu ride. There is no commercial area around, there is no place to go shopping, you can only spend time in the hotel ~ the hotel is near the sea, the next step can reach the seaside hotel, the environment is very good, the facilities are beautiful and clean; There is a swimming pool to play with, the hotel staff is very warm, and the dining is delicious. I want to focus on the boss's homemade ”Chili Ginger Honey Water” (Figure 2). This is the name I gave it. Hahahaha, really unique and very good to drink! The local weather was very hot. As soon as we arrived at the hotel, the boss gave us a cup of wine. After a sip, I fell in love with it. It was so hot and so hot that we had a few drinks every day for two days at the hotel. Haha, really great! Unfortunately, I forgot to ask the boss how to make it. I came back and tried to make it up, but I always felt that I didn’t mean anything. If there are friends who want to visit this hotel, please help me ask the boss to make it. Method oh (╹◡╹) I am grateful~! ! ! After I came back, I found out that I didn’t take a photo of the hotel. I had to upload a photo of the beautiful scenery. If I want to go to the apo to chase the turtle, it is right to choose this hotel! 🐢

The hotel is very cozy! It has small, but great rooms, and you can just walk like 50 m and then you are on the beach. The beach is really nice as well. Here you can enjoy swimming and snorkeling without going on a boat. The hotel area at the beach is also very nice with a lot of seating area, and they also have chairs and some sun beds you can bring with you. At the hotel they have a great restaurant, and they even serve you down at the beach! :) The food is so great, you actually don’t have to go somewhere else. They have Asian food and western food and a lot more, and it’s really good. The staff at the hotel is really great and helpful, and make you feel really welcome. We would definitely go back! The only negative thing is if you leave any food in you’re room, it will be infested by a lot of ants. So be careful with that :)
