Feel the energy of the Youth Palace and get to know amazing guest which appreciate somewhat humble but very nice accommodation, whole share similar passion for mountains and to openly communicate with others, spend evenings playing board games, cards or just chatting with each other. Swimmingpool is around 15 minutes walk. Don’t miss the walk along the Hohe Promenade for a mind blowing landscape and mountains view.

Delicious food, including vegan option!! Very nice staff: kind, flexible, smiley, friendly and welcoming :) Very relaxed environment, great to relax or have fun with family or friends. Clean and nice space! Good environment and good music in the games room.

Das war ja eine Überraschung, wir buchten Jugendherberge und bekamen Hotel. Wir trafen auf sehr nettes Personal, die uns unsere Wünsche erfüllen wollten, viele Hinweise für Aktivitäten gaben und auch für das leibliche Wohl vorbildlich sorgten.

Die Unterkunft ist gut und verfügt über alles was man für einen Kurzaufenthalt benötigt, aber der Service und die Freundlichkeit mancher Mitarbeiter lässt etwas zu wünschen übrig. Da in der Beschreibung stand, dass Bettwäsche und Handtücher zur Verfügung stehen, habe ich mich darauf verlassen. Nach dem Skifahren waren keine Handtücher oder Bettwäsche im Zimmer. Auf Nachfrage sollten sie gleich hochgebracht werden. Als wir um Mitternacht zurückgekehrt sind war immer noch nichts da. Der Mitarbeiter hat sich auch gar nicht dafür entschuldigt. Frühstück ist sehr gut und hat auch einiges zur Auswahl.

Die Erwartungen wurden deutlich übertroffen und der Standard für eine Jugendherberge ist aus meiner Sicht hoch. Das Zimmer war äusserst sauber und das Frühstück genügte ebenfalls absolut. Einzig das Personal war teilweise etwa forsch, z.B. bei der Handhabung der Parkplätze. Alles in allem kann ich diese Unterkunft absolut empfehlen.

Die Matratzen sind leider äusserst unbequem, das 6er Zimmer sehr eng. Toll war das Dusche/WC IM Zimmer war. Das Frühstückbuffet ausgezeichnet. Schade dass der Parkplatz extra berechnet wird mit 10.-franken pro Tag und das auch Billard, Töggeli-Kasten und Flipper zusätzliche Kosten verursachen.

Ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt. Ich habe mich in dieser sehr persönlich geführten Jugi sehr wohl gefühlt. Der volle Einsatz der Mitarbeitenden zum Wohle des Gastes war sehr gut spürbar. Das feine Frühstück mit teilweise regionalen und selbstgemachten frischen Zutaten und feinem Kaffee hat mir den Start in den Tag versüsst. Dazu ein fantastischer Blick über Davos. In dem Mehrbettzimmer gab es für jedes Bett einen grossen abschliessbaren Schrank (gegen ein Pfand von CHF 2.-). Die Heizung konnte individuell eingestellt werden und reagierte rasch, das Wasser im Bad war ebenso leicht und schnell in der Wärme regulierbar. Ein weiteres Plus: Es gab neben der neu errichteten Bar auf der einen Seite einen Billardtisch, einen Flipperkasten und einen Kicker, und auf der anderen Seite gemütlich gestaltete Sitzmöglichkeiten für schöne Abende in netter Gesellschaft. Tip für Autofahrer: ev. Schneeketten mitnehmen.
