Hotel Strela by Mountain Hotels
"Experience absolutely awful, I was supposed to stay in this hotel 4 nights, and because about the fact that my son was sick, I couldn't go on this hotel, I cancelled my staying from *********** before the beginning of my staying ( so they could rent again my room ). Even I knew before that the conditions couldn't allow me to be refund ( but its can be make from the hotel if they want ) I wrote them email in order to explain the situation and I was ready ( in order to show my understanding ) to be refund only one night on the 4 I nights I booked !!! But I was expecting a commercial good way of attitude from them...I cancelled 2 or 3 times in my life with identical conditions and always the hotel made something toward me...The STRELA hotel is gready, unfair and they talked to me very very rude at the phone...Frankly, you can count on me for make your advertising around me...really bad experience, rude staff...Believe me, you didn't earn what you didn't want to refund me…Poor"
Morosani Fiftyone - the Room Only Hotel
"Items/travel hacks used to make it work at Morosani 51 hotel during WEF week: My bill was 3,400 Swiss Francs for 5 nights --at least breakfast with some lukewarm scrambled eggs and dried out bacon was included. Stick to rolls and cold items Dual voltage immersion heater to make tea (no coffee machine or kettle in the room) Bagful of converter plugs-Europe round to Swiss, UK 3-prong to Swiss Amazon bubble pack mailing bags for wine and food placed on balcony (no mini-fridge). Bought groceries at the Coop down the street and put the bag out on balcony. Brought it in for 20 minutes 2x daily to prevent freezing. Shampoo and conditioner-a must if you will run into anyone you know. Bonus: this was the first shower-only bathroom hotel room I have stayed in that came with a shower cap. Plastic plates and a travel knife to cut up bread, cheese, sandwiches. Wine bottle stopper Earplugs-every move can be heard in hallways thanks to slate floors/echo chamber and paper bag-thin walls. Others have said it-could have left my door open and it was no different. The window had to stay open to combat the sauna--like heat so the snowplows scraping the roads at 4:40am was a real treat. Door stopper to keep balcony door open in 15 degree weather to counter in-room heat without a thermostat Summer sleeping items-a sauna in the room even w door and window open. Wish I had brought: Swiss Franc coins to use the coffee machine in the non existant lobby. Do not be deveived by the hotel photo taken w a wide angle lens. Elevator: it works some of the time. After 2 calls to the front desk I was told to jump up and down to activate it. Front entry door -no instructions on how to get out-please add a sign “turn knob to the left” Hallways-pitch black at night. Look for old fashioned yellow-glow switches to turn on hall lights. Geez-how about upgrading to motion sensor lights? Your room # does not necessarily correspond to the floor #. My room 434 was on the 3rd floor-really fun with jetlag!"
Steigenberger Icon Grandhotel Belvédère
"This is a nice 4 star hotel that has seen its day. It is promoted as 5 star, but it's not: Room - nice but in need of refreshing. Spa - Small gym, Hot tub warm/not hot, Saima and Steam room are good Breakfast - good. All self serve buffet. No chef making special orders. Nothing unusually special. Bar - decent but nothing special. Restaurant - the best part. Food at Voila was very good."
Ameron Davos Swiss Mountain Resort
"Dobra."
Hotel Ochsen 2 by Mountain Hotels
"The welcome was very friendly. The rooms were large and equipped with a TV, shower, and ample storage space. There is an elevator in the building. I missed having tea/coffee making facilities and a minibar (refrigerator). Bathroom amenities were also lacking (no cotton swabs, laundry bag, etc.). The side of the room facing the railway is quite noisy (I heard trains from 4:30 am onwards). The room was very warm. The beds were large and comfortable, and the TV had many channels. There were small bedside lamps and a power outlet near the bed. The breakfast buffet was basic, with a limited selection (only two types of bread, no croissants, rolls, etc., no bacon, no dried fruit), but it was acceptable. The price-performance ratio was reasonable. The location is fantastic: a bus stop right next to the hotel, and the train station is just a few meters away. Centrally located and easily accessible."

Schatzalp Hotel
"Stayed for 5 days for a holiday in the snow. The hotel is beautifully located above Davos, only to be reached by a private cable car. When you arrive you feel you enter a film scene, where you can write the script. The whole atmosphere is one you will never forget, it is if you go back in time when only the happy few went on holiday. The hotel is done in beautiful architecture and is very elegant. Wood, marble and stone. Jugendstil details. Food is great, the staff friendly and helpful. You can sled down every night, on a private lighted sled course, and there is a great slope & ski lift is included in the hotel stay on the back of the hotel. Some things are older but that makes the hotel even better. I rather see something done with craft and nice materials then plastic fantastic. I have seen reviews of people who made a picture of some faded paint or a stain in the carpet.... that the hotel was older then they expected and some other silly bla bla. It is like not admiring a pretty lady but only concentrating on a pimple. f you like character and elegance and a hotel that one of a kind you should stay here. If you want a kind of mediocre middle class so called luxury, there are plenty of other hotel chains that cater to that. I will be back Hotel Schatzalp, I had a fantastic time!"
Hotel Ducan
Morosani Schweizerhof
"The hotel (and conference centre) is very well run. Staff are very professional. Breakfast was at a „quite good for four star“ quality (standard for that hotel level, but by no means exceptional). The furnishings in the hallway were a bit worn and musty. The fitness centre was quite good. My room itself was quite spacious and the bathroom in perfect condition - all the fittings worked great and there was no mould, a sign it is looked after well. There was no airconditioning (which was a problem in the summer) and this would not have been an issue really, but with the window open at night fumes from some generator or something (not sure what, but it smelt like having a cars exhaust pipe in my room) came in through the window. Overall: if I were to come to Davos privately, I would try to find a different place. But it was ok for a work trip alone."
Hotel Meierhof
"Great 4 star. Ample rooms with the basics but no luxuries. Wonderful and attentive service even if at times, speaking in English is challenging for the front staff (French and German ok). Has excellent indoor pool and saunas. For Davos meeting, 30 minutes walking in slush. (Forget ground transport of any kind because with WEF traffic it will take longer)"
Hotel Europe
"Booked last minute for the weekend so maybe we got unlucky with the room but still, not an enjoyable staying. The hotel is an old fashioned one and in agreement with other reviews not really a 4 star. Parking is also totally inconvenient. Also bedding is questionable and a kettle in the room wouldn’t be bad. Breakfast is decent enough and location is good. Main issue is the piano bar which is a great initiative but given the old walls and doors keeps you awake till almost 3 am because of the loud music and vibrations (despite earplugs). We were at the 2nd floor, not sure the 3rd floor is better but for us very disappointing and tiring for 2 nights in a row with almost no sleep."
Grischa - Das Hotel Davos
"We had a wonderful stay at Grischa - das Hotel last weekend. Our junior suite was spacious, yet cozy and comfortable. Hotel staff are wonderful - very friendly and helpful. Breakfast choice is good and Leonto Sushi restaurant is a star itself. We're looking forward to our next stay at Grischa"
Hotel Parsenn
"I'm always a little nervous when recommending a hotel to friends. Moreso when I am leading a bunch of friends on a trip. But the Parsenn was as amazing as depicted on their website and in review sites. The service from ALL of the staff was excellent - very professional and in the couple of times we had more dire needs (like finding out I had left my key in the room AFTER the front desk was closed for the night), they responded promptly and quickly to take care of us! Additionally, they were of great help with some of the planning before we even arrived in Switzerland. The rooms were the perfect mix of classic Swiss Alpine decor plus modern amenities (USB ports, ample electric outlets, etc). Definitely will be our first choice for future visits to Davos. The breakfast buffet was a bit smaller for options than expected from previous trips to the Alps, but was still delicious. For those of you who are monolingual and only speak English, this is NOT a problem at all as EVERYONE we interacted with spoke English."
Turmhotel Victoria Davos
"The experience at this hotel was unpleasant, to say the least. It's a very old hotel and definitely needs a thorough renovation from the ground up. The rooms, although clean, appear old, as is the entire building. But the most disappointing thing was definitely dinner that evening; the food was nothing short of terrible. The first evening we opted for the à la carte menu even though the prices were quite high, considering that you could also eat at the buffet for a much lower price. The food was disgusting to say the least; we ordered soup, meat tartare, a boiled meat, and a beef fillet. The food was definitely not fresh, not to mention old; the tomato soup was tasteless and cold, the tartare was too dark in color and smelly (we sent it back), the fillet served on a hot stone was very tough, completely forgettable. The following evening we tried the buffet dinner; the food was definitely reheated over and over, the vegetables were overcooked and not exactly appetizing in color, and the pangasius fish seemed to be made of cardboard. The morning breakfast was acceptable, and the service was kind and attentive. Unfortunately, these are the only redeeming features of this hotel. We will never return."
Davos Youth Hostel
"Tip top"
Hotel Edelweiss
"Naprawdę słodkie i spokojne miejsce w pobliżu miasta. Można iść z tamtej strony do dworca kolejowego w około 20-30 minut.
Hotel Concordia
"Located on the Promenade, this hotel has outstanding beds (can't remember when I last slept so well in a hotel) and an exceptional breakfast. Reception was very nice and ready to help. We spoke in German but I believe they can speak EN too. Reception hours may seem odd but due to breaks but it wasn't a problem, our key was left ready for pickup. In general everyone is relaxed. We had a studio, big, cleaned daily with kitchinette (had everything you need for a short stay). Groceries close by (5mins walk). It's quite a walk to the city centre, but again whether this is an issue or not depends pn your interests. We also got free Davos transport tickets working also on some cable cars. Loved it and recommend it!"
Serviced Apartments by Solaria
