The Acoma House

Our stay at the Acoma House was absolutely incredible! We loved the amazing location, extreme cleanliness, attention to detail, gorgeous artistry in every space and all of the well thought out amenities! The bed was exceptionally comfortable, the light blocking shades were super helpful for the bright mornings, the pre pasted toothbrushes, ample towels, bedding, and cozy blankets really made this hotel stand out from many that we have stayed in! We can't wait to come back to Denver and try out a different room at the Acoma!

I almost can't find the words to describe how much I enjoyed staying at the Acoma House. It would be easy to gush about the beauty of the building, the stunning art in and outside of every room, the comfort, the privacy, and the amazing location - but it really was the incredible attention to practicality and convenience that took it to the next level. The Acoma Hotel does not have a traditional hotel front desk or on-site staff: everything is set up for guests to easily manage (keyless entry to the building and rooms, ample amenities, etc.). On top of that, there is a still a contact to reach out to for questions. As your typical anxious Millennial, this setup was absolutely ideal. The Acoma House is the best of both worlds when it comes to a lodging experience that feels both like a hotel suite and a top-notch vacation rental, and we will always remember it as one of the highlights of our first trip to Denver.

Found this gem online where all 24 rooms are mural themed each by a separate local artist. Booked rm 207 specifically at recommendation of the hotel Manager and wow did this place overdeliver! Amazingly decorated and very spacious 1 BR suite w/ full kitchen and a great price! Perfectly stocked with ice and full glassware, plates etc. (not plastic)! Clean and clutter free room and hallways with a self serve bag storage area, this was perfect for an on-the-go trip! Can't wait to return!! 5⭐️

My wife and I travel quite a bit so with confidence I can say this is one of the best places we have ever stayed! Starts with the great interactions over text about your stay and room. You walk up to this beautiful artistic building and that carries on to the hallways, spaces and rooms. Room had everything we needed. Loved the huge shower and small kitchenette that worked perfect for us. They were engaged to check us out and would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you Acoma House.

The property was extremely clean. The mattress was comfortable. The bath towels were plush. Everything was in good condition and working order. The kitchen was well stocked. Loved, loved the free water. This property probably provided more toiletries than any other place I have stayed. The location was super. It wasn’t quite as busy as the downtown core, but still very walkable. There are two coffee shops less than a block away. The neighborhood felt very safe during the day and early evening hours. Lots of young professionals living in the area. The luggage storage is a great plus for anyone flying. The parking lot always had space, and it was about 1/3 the price of other downtown hotels. As another reviewer mentioned, the claw foot tubs can be slippery, but there’s a rubber mat under the sink which solved the problem. Parking lot was a little lively during what I assume was bar closing hours on the weekend (2-3 AM), but there was an obvious security car presence. AC didn’t quite reach the separate bedroom, but a fan kept it comfortable. Book a room on the first floor if you are unable to haul luggage upstairs. Overall, the building is well insulated from street noise. The manager is very prompt with answering text messages. Make sure you receive a code in an EMAIL when paying for parking so you can validate it. I had some issues with this, but the lot has a different owner, so it was not the hotel’s fault. I would recommend this lodging.

Spent 2 nights at the Acoma House and it was a great success. It’s a very unique hotel in a great location. We loved the artistry of the room, hallway and exterior murals. All the attention to detail. The room was stocked with extras of the basics and toiletries plus bottled water as needed. Kitchen, frig and microwave were there all in their matching decor. Used the laundry room downstairs and it uses Payrange app or coin for access. Machines worked well. The only nit -picky thing I would add is sunlight from outside in the main room was hard to control with blinds alone. Also the claw foot tub was on the small side, a tad deep but smaller size not so great for a bath, water pressure not strong as well. Despite this I highly recommend.
