Beautiful property. Fabulous free breakfast. Perfect hot tub. Beds were soo comfortable we slept in and almost missed breakfast. This is my favorite downtown des moines hotel.

The hotel was beautiful and smelled so nice! We really enjoyed our couple’s massage. We walked a little over a block to a great Italian restaurant. Car felt safe in the parking garage across the street. Front desk staff was incredibly kind

This property is fabulously restored and glamorous. The staff was lovely and paid attention to every detail. The only thing, imho, to improve- the gym. :)

Staff was friendly and helpful. They have pretty much anything you would need in the room which was nice. The bed was comfortable and linens were nice. Everything was clean and pretty well kept, the only thing that wasn’t was some peeling wallpaper in the bathroom. But the hotel staff told me that they were in the process of replacing all of in it pieces. Overall, great place and definitely would stay there again.

Loved the location. Easy parking right across the street. Did not see other guests it was great. No kids running up and down halls. We loved our fireplace. The beds are very comfy. Wonderful tall windows. We were on a corner room. It was noisy all night during the work day. Only that was the only negative. Breakfast was ok. Could have been fresher even at 8 am. Nespresso machine did not have any chocolate options. And by next morning they ran out of yogurt parfaits.

It was fine. Parking is not ideal. Breakfast was subpar. Rooms were fine other than a tub in a suite. Things are styled the way they are but the carpet needs to be updated and paint scheme is just too dark.

This hotel was beautiful and the staff was top notch. They were accessible and friendly. I highly recommend them when staying in Des Moines. They really made it memorable and made a small city like Des Moines a place I would love to return to

Zach and Mary were the best! They went above and beyond for a few requests that we had. Property is very unique and decorated for Christmas. Room was nice, bed and pillows were very comfortable. Parked my F150 in the parking garage across the street with no issues. Would definitely stay again!

Just wanted to say all the staff was very helpful & assist me with My husband birthday. Sandy made our stay excellent. Zack also made our stay excellent as well. I thank God for the both of them. When I ask about the restaurants they both have given us very good places to eat-Thanks & Happy Holidays—Jeff n Teresa
