„This is a unique experience. Built in 1922, this historic inn has hosted three U.S. presidents and many actors, sports stars, and politicians. Their pictures are on the walls. The original opening of this inn corresponds with the completion of the highway which allowed access to this redwood studded part of California. There are three old time telephone booths in the huge lobby and many displays of days gone by. Completely renovated, the bed is comfortable, the television large, and breakfast free, even if your booking says that you must pay extra. TIP: If you come in winter, set your room temperature to 75 degrees (70 degrees does not really reach 70 degrees).”

„The room is small in size and well equipped for easy placement. Breakfast is quite satisfactory, buffet, restaurant crowded. The hotel has a swimming pool, gym, laundry and more. On the side of the road, a bit noisy.”

„Clean, updated room. Good water pressure and hot water. Motel is across the street from a food co-op, but otherwise not convenient to much. Probably wouldn't feel safe for some people.”
