Lower Thorton farm a set in idyllic farm location. It’s beautiful surroundings and scenery makes anyone ignore the travel time to the south West. The accommodatio at the property is well attended For and catered by Alison who keeps it meticulously clean . Location is very quiet and peaceful and would entice anyone looking for a good couple of days of getaways into the quiet nature.

Very well placed for the Sandy Park Exeter Chiefs rugby club. The hotel is clean, staff helpful & friendly & maintained to a high standard. Food is a bit expensive but nice. Breakfast is buffet style & has many choices. We use this hotel regularly & recommend it

Superb value. Under £50 for a basic but lovely clean, warm and comfortable double room with parking directly outside, topped off with a superb breakfast. If we’re ever in the area we will definitely stay again. Thank you so much.

Great stop-off to Cornwall, Topsham is a nice town just outside Exeter with good amenities. This pub is friendly, rooms are clean and well-appointed.

Nasz superior królewski pokój był przestronny, bardzo czysty i wygodny. Bardzo duża łazienka także z dużą kąpielą i oddzielnym kabiną prysznicową. Łóżko było bardzo wygodne i pokój miał piękny widok. Staff byli uprzejmi, przyjaznymi i pomocnymi. Pojechaliśmy do hotelu z A38 do hotelu, a pasy były wąskie (jak wiele pasów w Devon i Cornwall), ale jazda przez Haldon Forest była piękna. Wyjechaliśmy w drugą stronę przez wsi Ide na A30, która była trochę szersza! Z pewnością znów zostanie.

As usual with my frequent visit to this area I find Woodbury Park hotel has been my preferred place to stay. Staff are lovely kind and helpful. It’s a beautiful hotel satin a very picturesque location surrounded by pleasant scenery. Hotels and rooms are very clean and well attended to. Restaurant services are clean and impeccable. Credit goes to the chefs and the team who managed the service. I have had a pleasant breakfast service during my stay at Woodbury. I hope the staff and the team at Woodbury keep up the good work and encourage us to use them during my future trips to the area.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Gissons Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome and cared for. The room was spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The ample on-site parking was a huge plus, making our arrival and daily outings completely hassle-free. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a relaxing and well-managed stay.

We stayed at the Premier Inn, as we had an event to attend in Exeter. It is a great position to get about. There is a Brewers Fayre next door, which is cheap and convenient. We stayed 2 nights and the parking was £16
