I checked in at about 1pm and they wanted to charge me $15 for early check in, ended paying $7 extra, went to the room #157 and when I opened the door it smelled horrible I tried turning AC on and it made a lot of noise so I went out and housekeeper was there, I asked do all the rooms smell this bad and her answer was that they shouldn’t have given me that room because they had found someone that passed away and the room had not been cleaned properly , I went to the front desk and complained, the girl told me that she had forgotten about it, she switched me to another room but things didn’t look so good, sheets and towels looked old and worn out, I even wonder if they actually replaced them after checkouts, after this bad experience I don’t know if I’m ever staying at any of this franchises and the only reason I stayed is because it was non refundable and I really wanted to rest, also the room they gave me was next to the freeway and off-ramp which was pretty noisy, AC in the room worked but it had broken knobs so you couldn’t control the temperature, there were some people just oddly walking around the property some looked to be homeless and others maybe on ***** I can’t say for sure but the whole experience was not good for me, anyways I just wish I had gone to a different place I know I won’t get a refund
