Ashiwada Hotel

You can enjoy the spectacular view of Lake Kawaguchi right in front of you at an affordable price. Enjoy to your heart's content from sunrise to sunset! There are almost no people on the streets, and you can hear the chirping of birds. The hospitality of the inn is just right and comfortable. The hot springs are comfortable as the open-air bath can be used as a sleeping bath. The wine bath inside has a nice scent. I want to go again!

Hotel Lake Dragon Search cheap and hot spring hotels around Kawaguchi Lake♨ Inexpensive for single room without bathtub to this [Hotel Lake Dragon] I wanted to relax in hot springs without taking a bath in the room So it's a location with a view of Kawaguchiko Well (・᷄֊・᷅)/(・᷅-・᷄) If you say greed, you can't see Mt. Fuji from the room. minus point 🗻☀️。° Mt. Fuji walks to Kawaguchiko Ohashi bridge and you can see it immediately. You can do it. The facilities are 々 aging is also conspicuous, but the employees are friendly with polite language. The old-fashioned meals in the hot spring hotel, yukata, etc., like I went on a school trip when I was a child. I remember the nostalgic memories such as scenery. The hot springs are also open-air baths and the hot water is the best ♨️ The meal was only breakfast, but the contents were not good. The contents were a little bit more. as long as it's lonely as monsters and silas... well, it's a price-worthy feeling.

We loved this hotel! A small hotel of only 8 rooms positioned right by the lakeside of Kawaguchiko - ideally located for walks and enjoying the views across to Fuji. It is immaculately kept, has very good size rooms (could see Fuji from the window) and lovely, friendly staff. Reiko, who welcomed us when we checked in, spotted us on a road when she was in her car the following day, and took us on an impromptu guided tour to a waterfall and shrine. This was one of the highlights of our trip and was so kind of her to do on her day off, and encapsulated the willingness of the hotel to ensure our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The adjoining FamilyMart is also ideal for purchasing anything you need during your stay. Would happily return and stay for longer!

Firstly, I really liked the location. Kawaguchiko is beautiful and this side of the lake is less built up than the other side (and there is a nice park in front). It's walking distance from the station but about 20 minutes but not recommended with luggage. But not to worry, there is a regular (and cheap) 'loop bus' that departs regularly from the Station and stops right in front of the hotel. Also, the hotel offers a free shuttle bus to the Station from 8am - 10am. The check-in for this hotel is 3pm. Bearing in mind most check-outs in Tokyo are mid-morning, it meant we arrived in Kawaguchiko at midday and had three hours before we could check in to our room. Not very convenient. The hotel do offer a free pick-up from the Station but only after 3pm. Our room was good. It comprised of two single beds and a separate tatami room. We had a great view of Mt Fuji. I'd wake each morning and open the curtains and have a perfect view of if from my bed. If we were on the other side of the building, we'd have had a view of the lake instead. The bathroom was a little basic and the shower took a while to warm up, but aside from that it was an enjoyable room to stay in. The hotel had a free onsen and free robes/slippers for guests to use. I'd never used an onsen before and really enjoyed it - think of a really, hot steamy bath! The hotel also has bike hire available (1500 yen for the day). Visiting Mt Fuji was one of the highlights of my trip. Kawaguchiko was a really good base with plenty to do. I'd highly recommend visiting Chureito Pagoda and cycling around the lake was a really nice way to spend the day. I also thought the staff were extremely friendly.

A classic hotel managed by two friendly elderly men. Both ojiisan cant speak English but they both understand whatever i said in English. They both tried to be helpful in anyway. The hotel's staff and crew are elderly people as well. The hotel is near to Kawaguchiko bus and train station (less 100m). There is a bicycle rental shop a few metres from its left side. The twin bed room i booked is small but comfortable and a few spaces for me to perform my solat. The sliding window is weird too and since i didnt know how to close it, we got our room wet from the rain that night 😭. The beds are comfortable with a small pillow each. The bathroom and toilet are small too but clean, complete with basic toiletries - clean towels, a hard toothbrush and toothpaste, a tiny soap and a packet of shampoo. However becareful with the hot water because the flow isnt stable and you will find yourself burnt from the sudden hot flows. Inside the room we have a TV, aircond (the room is hotter during summer even with an aircond), slippers, yukata (do not fret if you didnt bring a nightdress), two little chairs and a small table, a few packets of green tea, glasses and a weird kettle with Japanese instructions 😭😭😭 which we failed to understand. No mineral water in bottles provided so we used the boiled tap water. The vending machines downstaires do not provided mineral waters too. 7 Elevan and Lawson are about 200m to 300m from the hotel (on the right side). I got all of my rations from the Kawaguchiko Station because it is nearer to the hotel and the station. has all types of vending machines

This hotel has 3 blocks as it is set into a hill. The first block contains the lobby, then at the 5th floor you connect to the middle block (which faces Fuji directly) and contains rooms on the 6-7th floors. It also contains the bathing area with an outdoor view of Mount Fuji. From the middle block, the 8th floor connects to the last block which contains levels 8-10. This block has a view of Fuji but you have to look out your window at a slant. Rooms are run down and hotel looks like it was stuck in the 1970s. Curtains are stained, walls have marks, corridor walls are stucco. Shoji screens in room have torn paper. Sink looks dirty. Wood surfaces are worn. The finishings in the room could certainly use some refurbishment and love. However it is decently clean and I was still comfortable for my stay. Food was a good spread and tasty. I was treated to fireworks over the lake which was visible from the room. The hotel staff (front desk, dinner staff) all made it a point to mention the event and where to view it from, which I appreciate.
