"This was the worst experience of our life . Me and my wife do a lot of driving holidays Starting with the access road leading to this place . There is no road and the last two kms is for tractors . And if you have gone in a car , you are dead . I have had my alloy wheel rim broken , which I discovered the next day while departing and it's going to cost me a bomb .luckily the zostel team introduced me to a mechanic who was a messiah for me . The road is apt for a 4WD .Next up was the cottage that we had booked . Dont get mesmerized by the photos which appear on the net . the room is a mess in reality . It's a glorified dharmashala. I am aware that one can't expect luxury in a zostel ( my daughter's warned me ) but one can at least expect hygiene and comfort . No stirrer for the tea cups. Broken cups , broken shelves , no wifi ( and then we discovered a router hidden behind the curtain ) - why were we not informed about the wifi and the password . And finally ..the beach is far far away and you will need to walk down about 100 ft to reach the sea ."

"We had booked stay for two days in nimmu house through mmt. Rooms are neat and well maintained and it's very near to gokarna main beach. The hosts are friendly and gives all the information needed. It's has in-house restaurant on top floor. I would recommend people to book nimmu house for family in terms of cleanliness and security. Overall great experience for stay in gokarna"

"Recently completed a very pleasant stay of 3 nights and 4 days. Though the location of the hotel / resort is little difficult to approach by car, but once you reach, it is an absolute bliss. Only little uncomfortable part is, beach is round 300 meters away and walking down to beach during night hours through a narrow lane may not be very pleasing experience for everybody. Now the good things are, 1. Whole place is spot clean. 2. Rooms are very clean and specious 3. Breakfast is awesome 4. Overall service is fantastic NOTE: Though they presently do not have any Lunch / Dinner facility, but if you ask them, they can get the same from outside and serve. Overall, a highly recommended place if you want to spend 3-4 days of solitude."
