"A property with just basic needs fulfilled , not even a guest house category place. The rooms are large but the maintenance and hygiene standards are low, being short of staff the services are as slow as they can get. Not having a restaurant area the breakfast is served in a stingy small closed hall without any ventilation. There’s barely any choice for food. Though they have Spa in their name it exists only there and not in reality. All in all a big disappointment being in this hotel."

"Our stay at Sunny Serenity in Gokarna was nothing short of exceptional. Nestled outside the main town, this place is a true oasis for those seeking peace and tranquility. From the moment we arrived, we were met with warmth and kindness. My family (including two small children) arrived very early in the morning after a long journey from Hampi. We didn’t expect a room to be ready at that hour—we simply needed a place to rest for a bit. However, the wonderful staff, especially Raul, went above and beyond, welcoming us with open arms and making sure my wife and kids had a comfortable spot to relax while they hurried to prepare our room ahead of check-in time. One day, I needed to go into Gokarna town for supplies, but my scooter wouldn’t start. Without hesitation, Sunny, the owner, generously offered me his own scooter so I could make the trip—an act of kindness that speaks volumes about the hospitality here. The food at Sunny Serenity was fantastic—delicious, rich, and full of local flavors. Additionally, as I was combining my trip with some work, I was happy to find that the WiFi was stable and reliable, making it easy to stay connected when needed. Overall, I highly recommend this place. The location, hospitality, food, and incredible staff made our stay unforgettable. I will definitely return!"

"The room was quite average and not very clean. The water flow in the bathroom was extremely slow. It took nearly an hour to fill a bucket. The carpet in the room had an unpleasant smell. The bedsheets were not clean. The towels were not washed properly. When we raised a complaint about the tap and hand faucet, someone was sent to fix the issue, but the water pressure remained very low. Due to the water problem, our checkout was delayed, and the staff shouted at us even after giving him the real reason. I would never ever stay at this place again. The food, however, was decent."
