"Wonderful old-world palazzo situated within walking distance of the Castle and across the street from two popular restaurants. Our room had elegant furnishings with brocade drapes and tall windows overlooking the central courtyard. Surprisingly there were few guests and we missed breakfast so I can't rate the included meal. The amenities were basic and we arrived when a new staff member was being trained so service was slow. Parking at the nearby university was a short walk away."

"The Hotel International offers many rooms and is located in a quiet and strategic location, with a large parking, in the immediate periphery of Gorizia, about 2 km from the historic centre and a few km from the border with Slovenia. A large room with a nice veranda and comfortable rooms with mini-fridge, air conditioning and terrace. Breakfast with buffet with sweets and salts and good dinner (but only 2 first or 2 seconds at choice). The fact that the hotel has several elements to recommend it is a good idea. "
