This place was perfect, and when we return we will definitely stay here again. The guesthouse has 8 rooms, two in the back and 6 in the part we stayed in. No, there is no breakfast included, but there are two kitchens set up back to back for the guests to use and two coffeemakers (and coffee) and basic spices, oil, cookware, stove, fridge etc. You have to take a minute here and recognize where you are, This is the middle of East Bumf***, especially in the offseason. Restaurant and shopping options are limited, especially on Monday and Tuesday. So if you expect a fancy hotel and the amenities associated with it, maybe you should stick to Reykjavik, but if you want incredible beauty, a clean room with a comfortable bed and the best shower we had anywhere, and a chance to interact with fellow travelers and a friendly staff, stay here. Do some shopping first, stay a couple days, chill and enjoy all the peninsula has to offer. 10 stars if I could. Can't recommend them highly enough.

The room is completely slippers, very clean! The kitchen on the 1st floor has complete ovens, gas stoves and other kitchen equipment to use! There is a parking lot nearby and parking is very convenient.

So if you expect a fancy hotel and the amenities associated with it, maybe you should stick to Reykjavik, but if you want incredible beauty, a clean room with a comfortable bed and the best shower we had anywhere, and a chance to interact with fellow travelers and a friendly staff, stay here. Do some shopping first, stay a couple days, chill and enjoy all the peninsula has to offer. 10 stars if I could. Can't recommend them highly enough.

My wife and I stayed in a room on the 2nd floor, full of large rooms, and a cubicle similar to the living room, and the sofa is a sofa bed, so if there are 3-4 people, it is no problem; you can see the church directly from the window. The room is completely slippers, very clean! The kitchen on the 1st floor has complete ovens, gas stoves and other kitchen equipment to use! There is a parking lot nearby and parking is very convenient.

Great homestay. Public kitchen, everything! Pots and pans, cups, tableware, seasonings, etc. Just buy the ingredients in advance and make a meal together and it will be perfect! The room size is normal and the floor heating is sufficient. A five-minute drive from Straw Hat Mountain. You can walk to the supermarket around. There are plenty of parking spaces and there are gas stations nearby.
