"This was our second visit to Argyle Luxury Resort in Hatton. The resort was full due to the holiday weekend but the service was exceptional, rooms were clean, and linen was soft and comfortable, and there was a fabulous spread of food for each meal. The front office manager Mr Jana made sure that all our needs were fulfilled. The assistant manager Mr Nathan was always around and asked us if he could do anything to help us. The guest relations representative Ms Rushanthi greeted us as we arrived and was very kind to our daughter who had a cast on one foot due to sustaining a fracture of her ankle and therefore had to use the hotel wheelchair or her walker. The restaurant staff were amazing. The assistant restaurant manager Mr Imran was always there to find out if we were okay and if he could do anything to assist us and restaurant supervisor Mr Udaya went above and beyond to assist us and make sure that our every need was fulfilled. Your Chef’s Dinuka and Dimithu were fantastic and prepared some of the finest meals for us!! Your steward Nadun was ever so helpful and in a moments notice he would bring the wheelchair to our room or to the restaurant to transport my daughter who had a cast on one of her legs due to a fracture she sustained and as a result she was able to join in the fun with the group!! Your Bell Captain Mr Sudarshan and related staff helped to put the table and linen together in the Juice Bar area and arranged all the food and the Specially made yummy Birthday Cake, and Spring Rolls made by the pastry Chef, and Avurudu goodies and tea and coffee for our relatives and friends to enjoy!! Overall we had a wonderful holiday at Argyle and definitely will return. The only suggestion I could make is that they could have had a Avurudu celebration for the guests and staff since it was the Sinhalese and Tamil New Year and every hotel we had been to during this period in the past, always had a traditional Celebration to mark this important holiday!!"

"Very beautiful place. Very clean. It’s not a hotel but a very nice place to stay. Very clean place. Tasty food. If you want to spend some quiet time away from the hazel of the cities this is the place. The caretaker anjana is a wonderful person. He will make you feel at home. The rest of the staff very supportive. I recommend this place to anyone who would like a tranquil holiday."

"Very dirty place. The are not cleaning bedsheets (bad smell coming ). No hot water for rainy days they are acting like just broken solar hot water system. Very dirty plates and glasses. not recommend for eny one. Dot judge with their older photos at the google."

"I came here for a 10 day vacation aiming to relax, sleep well, eat well, run and ride my bike, do some gym workouts and repeat. This place suited me 100%. The staff are the most friendly and supportive people you can find in a hostel, always asking for your preference and liking, it is so humbling how kind they are. The food is diverse, clean, delicious and healthy. The place itself is clean and tidy, smells pretty nice and well aerated. If you’re someone who is running away from crowded cities and noise, and looking for a place where you can breath clean and cold air, wake up in the morning facing beautiful sunrise behind the tea plants and green hills, then congratulations, you have arrived to your destination. All of that and more was with a price tag that did not break my bank account. I don’t know what else can I ask for."
