"We stayed in a lovely bright room overlooking the beach. We had a very friendly welcome when we turned up having not booked (we picked the hotel when walking along the beach and deciding it was so nice we'd stay the night). Parking, access and lift all excellent. Breakfast was good. "

"Do NOT stay at Hotel Ibaia! I was double charged and despite their promises, I never got my money back. Their card device is ancient and cannot process refunds, and they said they would do a bank transfer—but it’s been two weeks and I still have nothing. To make things worse, they completely ignored all my emails. Their customer service is nonexistent, and dealing with them feels like being scammed. Be extremely careful if you are thinking of booking here. This hotel is unprofessional, unreliable, and I would never recommend it to anyone."

"The residence is very beautiful and well located, with a pleasant atmosphere. However, there are several details that could be improved. The mattresses are extremely uncomfortable, which significantly affected the quality of our rest during our 20-day stay. We had to request a change of towels and sheets, as this was not done automatically, and the intermediate cleaning mentioned in the conditions never took place. The floor leading from the residence to the pool is very slippery and could be dangerous, especially for children or older adults. The restaurant offers very few options, and the quality of the food is poor. It’s a shame that the potential of this space isn’t better utilized—for example, offering coffee and pastries or a proper dinner service would be a great addition. In summary, the place has great potential, but service and infrastructure improvements are needed to meet expectations."

"The hotel room is very neat, clean and quiet. It takes about 1 kilometer to walk out of the station. The hotel provides breakfast and dinner. Turn right and walk a distance to a street where there are many restaurants. You can also take L1 and transfer 25 to go swimming at the beach🏊"

"What a lovely town Hendaye is. The Hotel Valencia is in a good location , especially uf you want to use the beach or the sea. It is a healthy, easy walk to the town centre, the marina and the river. Hendaye has a real alpine feel to the architecture which was a lovely surprise. it is very relaxed in June. The hotel is comfortable, we selected a room with sea view and the ground floor room 2 was virtually a suite, well equipped with tea, coffee and kettle. We could hear footsteps of the occupants, but not enough to get irritating. Parking is easy and off street. We took breakfast on the 1st floor terrasse, watching early morning surfers and joggers. Unusually I couldn't resist the 'typical' Basque almond cake. We are contemplating returning for a longer stay."

"Nie zatrzymuj się w hotelu Ibaia! Byłem podwójnie obciążony i pomimo ich obietnic, nigdy nie dostałem moich pieniędzy z powrotem. Ich urządzenie karty jest starożytne i nie może przetwarzać refundacji, i powiedzieli, że zrobią przelew bankowyale to było dwa tygodnie i nadal nie mam nic. Aby pogorszyć sprawę, całkowicie ignorowali wszystkie moje wiadomości e-maile. Ich usługa klienta nie istnieje, a ich traktowanie jest jak oszustwo. Ten hotel jest nieprofesjonalny, niewiarygodny i nigdy nikomu nie polecam."

"I wanted to thank the staff at Ibaia as they were so lovely with us during our stay. One day at breakfast they had run out of bacon, my children were disappointed but within less than 10 minutes they brought out a large bowl just for them. Also, a huge thank you to Barbara who is just the most wonderful receptionist. She made us feel so welcome. My children loved her so much. This was our second stay here in the residences. It’s beautiful since the renovations."
